ANNOUNCEMENTS »» BOR Meeting tomorrow (August 28), Executive House. 7am call time >> Every council member is required to attend 1 BOR meeting. »» USC will be working on its’ break the code campaign. Their goal is to remove the ban on organisations. Student organisations with app processes that have a duration of 1 semester were saved. However, organisations that do not have, or have shorter app processes are still affected. »» Food Sale: Any form of food sales is not allowed in CBA.

CA/PH TBS BRIEFING The councillor for operations, Kate Pizarro, gave her reminders and guidelines for the CA/PH TBS happening on Monday September 1, 1-4pm.

»» Council members should bring extra slippers »» The team plans to compensate the workers who work on the land, as an incentive to stay. Majority of the members in council feels that this idea might backfire.

ADOPT-A-BARANGAY VISIT ASSESSMENT Comments and suggestions for the team and on the last Puray Visit were as follows »» Food and transportation for 150 pesos was worth it. »» Next time remind people to bring gloves for planting »» The visit was fun, but the walk was unexpectedly long »» The visit turned out to be a bonding session for council

Success Metrics »» Attendance of the batch in major batch events (EK, Halloween, Christmas, Movie) »» At least 8/10 events rating at an online end-of-sem survey »» 90% batch participation in Bacbacan

BACBACAN »» Councillors are now given the choice to join their batch’s cheer dance or not. However, any decision made during this meeting is irrevocable. >> Joining Cheer dance: Ryan Ramirez, Caitlin Gregorio, Zach See, Kate Pizarro, Vinchie Que »» Rule Reading: September 4, 11:30-1. Batchreps are asked to invite all their team captains. Contentions on rules will be raised here. »» Smart as a sponsor will be incorporated in BACBACAN

USC REMINDERS »» Culminating night will be on August 29. Prizes like bag tags will be given out »» Freshman Batch representative Josh Sonza, will be the freshie rep to the freshie council. »» Magna Carta for students: will be formed for the rights of the students. The team will be composed of 70 members, including 20 student council chairpersons and 25 nominations on which anyone can nominate people who can be a representative of any student sector, and 25 random selections.

PROJECT UPDATES BACBACAN »» Will have a council jersey

COUNCILLOR UPDATES Edres »» Academic Kit Pubmat and Links will be released. Marketing »» Marketing Councillors, Zach See and Caitlin Gregorio, gave their updates on BAC’s current and upcoming sponsors and partneships. Finance »» Budget allocation is already released. Projects with special cases, will be given budgets when the need arises. »» All batches have given their council fees from their batch mates. »» All batches will be given 2500 from a marketing sponsor »» BL Shirts will be liquidated in a clearance sale. »» Rummage Sale: This Sunday, August 31 until 8pm. Transportation will be provided.

TIP »» Councillor for External affairs, Jaia Yap, along with the Externals CA’s had a meeting for the 3rd time with the CHE council. »» TIP dates are final: from Oct 20-24 (during CHE month) and from Nov 3-7 >> 1st seminar: clothing tech >> 2nd seminar: food nutrition »» Delegation of tasks >> CHE Council: Programs and Marketing >> BAC: Marketing »» Venue: UP SE Elizabeth Yu Hall Skills Workshop: »» Sept 19. Sunlife will be providing a free personal financing seminar. Education and Research Councillor, Justin Nery, will talk to orgs on any conflicts with this.

BUSINESS CORNER »» LRT 1 construction was stalled since SMC filed a complaint stating that the common station should be at SM North and not Trinoma. Railroads of LRT 1 (Southbound) will be replaced and improved »» MRT 7 will be constructed »» ITBTM: BPO and call centers reached 1 million in labor force. 18 Billion dollars worth of revenue every year with an on track target. »» The gaming tourist industry (casinos etc.) is booming
