Lorna has a long history with photography covering a number of specialities including portraiture, event, commercial and also medical photography. Originally trained in dark room photography, Lorna developed her skills alongside the increasing popularity and eventual take over of digital photography in the industry and the creativity and accessibility that has come hand in hand with that digital movement. In an ever-changing landscape, Lorna’s goal is to give you not only the basic knowledge, but the skills to continue developing your own confidence beyond the completion of the course.

Experienced interior designer Monya has worked on projects in the Isle of Man, Dubai, Qatar, and Kuwait and the Middle East. From palaces and 5-star hotels to Gin Bars and Cafes, she shares her inspirational international portfolio from around the world. Combining 25 years of experience and training in interior design and architecture, her exciting courses include colour theory, mood boards, pattern and texture concepts, and planning and layouts.

Did you know that you can choose to sit an exam at UCM as a Private Exam Candidate? So, if you’re studying elsewhere and prefer to take your exams without having to leave the Island, you can do this with us.
Access to Higher Education
If you’ve always wanted to attain a degree or are reskilling into an industry where a degree-level qualification is required but you don’t hold the required qualifications needed –An Access to Higher Education course could be ideal for you.
WHAT ARE ‘ACCESS TO HIGHER EDUCATION’ COURSES?
A one-year course ideal for people who have few or no formal qualifications* but want to go on study a degree. On completion of the course you’ll earn UCAS points in order to go on to study at a University in the UK can continue your studies on a Degree course with us.
*You’ll need a C or above in GCSE Maths and English, if you don’t have that already we can also help you with that.
