April 22, 2021 Dear Friends, Thank you for joining us and for your support of Union Settlement’s 2021 Spring Benefit: A Virtual Event Empowering East Harlem. We are delighted to spend time with you this evening. Last year, we had to cancel the Spring Benefit marking our 125th Anniversary celebration, so we are especially thrilled to celebrate with you virtually this evening. We are proud to showcase how, throughout the pandemic, Union Settlement has continued to provide its vital services to the 10,000 East Harlem residents we serve each year. Tonight, we are pleased to celebrate our distinguished honorees: Ron Moelis, CEO & Chairman of L+M Development Partners Inc.; Jonathan F.P. Rose, President of Jonathan Rose Companies; and Dawn Zappetti, Vice-Chair of the Union Settlement Board of Directors. We are also honored to recognize Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP with our Law Firm Partner award and the Blackstone Charitable Foundation with our Corporate Partner award this evening. We especially want to thank the amazing Union Settlement staff for all of their hard work, passion, and dedication empowering the residents of East Harlem. Finally, we are grateful for our generous sponsors and supporters of the evening. We deeply appreciate your generosity. Thank you for your support and enjoy a peek inside Union Settlement and East Harlem!
Sincerely,
Amy Sherman Chair, Board of Directors
