STUDENT TESTIMONIALS

KJ Green (she/they)

Supervisor, Information Services Specialist

I enjoy working in the SCCA because it doesn’t ever truly feel like work. I genuinely enjoy coming to every shift because I’m always greeted with amazing people with smiling faces, everyone on my staff always makes my day! The SCCA has given me the confidence and has taught me the skills to become the best leader I can be. My role also will help me in my future careers by providing me with the skills I have learned from our core value: service excellence. I always strive to make every guests’ experience at the Chamberlain Student Center a good experience, and I plan to bring this core value into my work life beyond college.

Bansi Radhakrishnan (he/him)

Photographer/Videographer, Marketing Team

The SCCA team has always been so welcoming & accepting to all staff and students! Since my first day on the team, I’ve felt right at home. I look forward to coming in to work each day, I genuinely enjoy the work that I do here, and I cherish the relationships that I have formed with my coworkers!

Ezekiel Abrams (he/him)

Building Manager

Working in the SCCA, I am already building an understanding of what meaningful and effective teamwork looks like as I work with the various teams in the building as a part of my job. I enjoy working in the SCCA simply because of how flexible it is. Compared to other employment opportunities, I feel that working in the Chamberlain Student Center is the most understanding place to work as a student. If students are looking for an understanding and flexible work environment, they should absolutely consider working for the Chamberlain Student Center & Campus Activities (SCCA).

Nadia Elbanna (she/her)

Event Assistant/ Building Manager

I love the environment at the SCCA, everyone has a shared goal of bettering our community, while still having a good time. I look forward to going into the office to not only get work done, but to spend time with my coworkers who have become friends. All around great vibes. Working at the SCCA has taught me so much, but most importantly, how to build and maintain healthy professional relationships. As a student worker you are given the opportunity to work closely with graduate and professional staff. In doing this I have learned to balance professionalism while still enjoying the company of supervisors.

Yaniselle Garcia (she/her)

President, Student University Programmers

While working for the SCCA I have been able to learn how to be a leader. They strive to teach us the importance of what it means to stand out and stand up for others in order to make an impact. Being able to be president for SUP will allow me to grow into a strong leadership position that will allow me to not only advocate for myself but for others as well. Students should work for the SCCA because it’s an opportunity to let your creative side run freely. The SCCA has truly provided me with a home away from home and I’ve gotten to meet so many amazing people because of it!

Louis Santos (he/him)

Vice President, Student University Programmers

To work with the SCCA is to join not only an organization, but also to join a family. With the SCCA, they will always cheer you on, and share your accomplishments with you, and will always be supportive of you 110%! Within the SCCA, I have found my place on campus, and made friendships that will last years to come, and I have the Student Center to thank for that! In my position, I’ve learned various skills, such as communication, leadership, and community building
