Possible Illegal Quorum for TBCD Board Members

Trinity Bay Fires General Manager

By Wade Thibodeaux The Trinity Bay Conservation District Board of Directors held a special meeting last Friday, June 19, 2020 at 9:00 am. in which they voted 3-2 to buy out the contract of General Manager Jerry Shadden. Those voting in favor of the buyout were Board President Jeffery Jenkins, Director Dorothy Hamilton, and Director Cody Bauer. terminate and buy out the contract of TBCD general manager Jerry Shadden at a meeting earlier in the day, so what could have been so pressing that they had to gather together again in the afternoon. Even if no Trinity Bay Conservation District business was discussed at this gathering, from an appearance sake, it would seem that these directors would not want the public scrutiny that comes with the three of them in the same location. The above sentence has an ironic twist of fate as Chambers County Sheriff's Office records show that Director Hamilton filed a complaint with (contd on page 8)
