October is always an exciting time of year for the Club as the seasonal Members begin to return for the last few weeks of reciprocal play and the Leadership TEAM completes the necessary projects to ensure a successful season. The golf courses are improving daily after their final aerifications and we look forward to drier weather. The Club will be completing the final landscape touches in preparation for a busy season with the annual wall-to-wall pine straw installation and the annual flower bed replacements by the end of the month.
Additionally, the Club is eager to deliver a funfilled calendar of events and activities with the assistance of our creative Leadership TEAM. The Club continues to improve the Member experience, Club operations, its financial position, and appeal in the Naples market. The TwinEagles Club is positioned to have another outstanding Season!
Thank you to all Members who attended the Membership Town Hall Meeting on Friday, September 20. In total, 75 Members were physically in attendance in addition to 35 via Zoom for a total of 110 Members. The Membership heard from Members of the Board of Directors, Club Leadership, Strategic Planning Committee, and Tee Time Task Force regarding strategic initiatives important to the Membership, as well as the Club’s FY25 Business Plan and Budget.
If you were unable to attend the meeting, please see the video and PowerPoint presentation links to the left.
The Club would like to thank those Members who completed the Committee Volunteer Survey this summer. Over 70 Members responded to the survey, expressing interest in serving the Club on at least one of the club committees.
Much appreciation to the Leadership Recruitment and Nominating Comittee who reviewed the committee requests and applications and the Board of Directors who ultimately appointed Members to each of the club committees based on a variety of factors. If you volunteered but were not selected for a committee this year, please do not be discouraged as you may be asked to serve on a committee/subcommittee at a later date or as a full committee member in future years. We appreciate your interest in serving the Club.
We are excited to return to our full complement of Members this fall and we look forward to seeing you at the Club often. As always, please do not hesitate calling on me should you have any questions about your Membership or Club Operations.
Warm regards,
Bob Radunz General Manager/COO

On behalf of the Board of Directors, we are looking forward to an exciting Autumn here at the Club. We have been working closely with Bob and his TEAM and have several updates, some which were discussed at the September 20 Membership Town Hall.

Register to attend Townhall Meetings on the Club calendar!
1. Fiscal Year 2025 Budget and Forward Business Plan – We continue to focus on taking care of the investments we have all made as Members of TwinEagles. We have a solid value proposition and continue to improve the Member experience throughout the Club. Many of you requested a longer view of the budget and business plan. In conjunction with the Finance Committee, we provided a 4-year dues projection and a 10-year capital outlook. We have received a lot of positive feedback since the Membership Town Hall and remain focused on continuing to move TwinEagles forward.
2. Becoming an Employer of Choice – Many Members have asked how they can support our international TwinEagles team members as they return to the Club later this year. We want to thank all Members who participated in the optional Foreign Worker Supplies Program. 100% of the supplies requested were fulfilled by the Members.
3. Updated Tee Time Policy - The updated Tee Time Policy was sent to Members on September 15 and reviewed at the Town Hall. Thank you to the Tee Time Task Force and the Golf Operations Team for working together over the past several months to focus on increasing Member tee time availability, specifically January through March, without negatively impacting the Member golf experience (i.e. pace of play), and in a manner equitable to most of the Membership. The updated policy has been well received by the Members and is effective October 1.
4. New Golf Carts – Bob and his team were able to negotiate an early return of our current carts and our new fleet of EZ-GO golf carts equipped with GPS will begin arriving at TwinEagles in late October/early November.
5. Club Committees – Thanks to all Members who served on a Committee this past year and to everyone who offered to serve on a Club committee in the coming year.We really appreciate your willingness to invest your time and support our community.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, we look forward to a great year as we continue to move forward together.
On behalf of the Board of Directors,

Fall is in the air? I won’t lie to you: the part of the year I miss my Michigan roots the most. A noticeable change in temperatures fall colors, and football season (can I hear a “Go Blue”). October in Florida? Not so much. However, we hope that means a start to the DRY season, as I can’t imagine there’s much moisture left in the atmosphere. One thing for sure is the unofficial start of the 2024/2025 golf season. We used to say that happens in November, but we all know that many of our Members are returning much sooner.
In October, we have the twice-postponed N4 event on Saturday, October 12, with Esplanade, but we are excited to announce a new date.
Once again, we are pleased to have Gator Golf Cars available on-site to make the servicing of private golf carts more convenient for our Members. Beginning October 8th, Gator Golf Cars will be at TwinEagles one Tuesday every month.
To schedule your service appointment, please contact Gator Golf Cars directly by email at service@gatorgolfcars.com, or by calling their Collier County location at (239) 334-4000. You will be able to schedule an annual golf cart maintenance or any other necessary repair. Please keep in mind there could be a limit as to the number of carts that can be serviced in one day.
If you have any questions or need any further assistance, please call the TwinEagles Golf Shop.
This October, we have the twice-postponed N4 event with Esplanade, The Quarry, and Heritage Bay. After that, we have two big events—the first-ever Men’s Fall Member-Guest tournament on October 24-26 and the Couples’ Halloween Event on October 31.

The Golf Staff has worked hard to provide the TwinEagles Membership more summer golf opportunities than in previous years to assist Members in securing tee times at one of our reciprocal clubs, while our Golf Course Maintenance TEAM is completing the necessary agronomic and cultural practices this summer.
Below is the Club’s remaining golf course closing schedule:
September 19 thru October 2
Having recently joined TwinEagles, I am excited to share my first impressions as I settle into my new role. There is much to discover and a few challenges to address on the golf courses, but I am confident that with strong support and a dedicated team, we can achieve great things together. Having started at the end of summer, I’ve seen firsthand the effects of the heavy rains. Without leaning on a political cliché, next summer, our team will work diligently to "drain the swamp. " There are opportunities for immediate improvements to reduce wet conditions, while some areas will require more investment for permanent solutions. Water moves downhill, and that’s what we will focus on achieving in the years to come, along with other enhancements to the playability and overall experience at TwinEagles.
One of my first impressions in these initial weeks has been the incredible talent and experience within our golf maintenance team. In a time when labor shortages have been a challenge across the industry, TwinEagles has done an excellent job of retaining skilled individuals in what is often a revolving-door profession. Golf maintenance is no easy task. Our TEAM starts their day at 5 a.m. with morning meetings and assignments, working through weekends and holidays because the turf doesn’t stop growing. They brave the rains, endure the intense summer heat, and will soon face the chilly mornings to come. What we have here is something truly special experienced individuals who genuinely care about TwinEagles. I have already witnessed impressive teamwork, with crew members stepping up to support one another as we navigate the end of the summer season.
I believe this property is unique, and with time, these courses will become a place where guests eagerly anticipate their next invitation to return. I look forward to meeting each of you and continuing to grow and improve together with the incredible TEAM here at TwinEagles!
On Friday, August 30 our Golf Course Maintenance TEAM hosted a fun BBQ to welcome our new Director of Golf Course & Grounds Maintenance, Gabe Gallo and his adorable puppy, Ruby!
The Club’s landscaping contractor is on property replacing plant material that has been eaten by the TwinEagles deer population or did not survive the excessive rains this summer (67+ inches since June 1). To improve growing conditions in front of the Clubhouse, several hardwood trees canopies were thinned out this past Saturday in anticipation of new plants and Zoysia turfgrass. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete this necessary work!
Tom Patri, PGA Director of Player Development
Mark your calendars! 24 Members will have the opportunity to experience this transformative seminar on Wednesday, November 6, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Registration will open one month from the date. More details can be found on the Club calendar
With the summer season in toasty SW Florida behind us and the Winter golf season just around the corner, I’m excited to start my second season as your Director of Player Development
Be sure to check the Club calendar. I have built a healthy season of seminars, clinics and schools to complement private instruction Please take advantage of these special events.

Whenever I begin a new season of instruction with a student, we sit together. The first question I ask is simply, “What is the number one thing you would like to achieve this season?” Often, I get back a laundry list of issues they might want to address. I then ask them how many lesson hours they plan on spending with me, how many rounds they anticipate playing and how many practice sessions per week they realistically can handle (keyword - realistically.)
Often times, what they want to accomplish via their expressed laundry list versus the number of lessons, the number of rounds they will play, and the number of practice sessions don’t seem to match up. At this point, I put my coaching hat on and have a black-and-white discussion with that student and simply state that either the number of lessons and practice sessions has to increase or the expectations have to decrease, or we both will finish the upcoming season dissatisfied and disappointed and that’s the last thing I want for any of my students or myself
Construction of a sound and accurate game plan requires a true sense of reality based on the student's time constraints due to his or her day-to-day life responsibilities. Family, job, etc., often leave less than the needed time to advance their golf game, where so many of these folks would like to be able to go.
It’s the coach's responsibility to bring a realistic approach to the table.
When I work with any student, identifying the weakest link and putting it first is paramount. From there, we line up the next weakness and so on. I always like to be sure we spend time together in each of the following areas.
PUTTING
Lag Putting / Speed Control
10 Feet and in / The Scoring Zone
Pre-Shot and Set-Up Conditions
SHORT GAME SHOTS
-Chipping
-Pitching
-Elevated Pitch *You might refer to this as a lob shot

I’m excited to share a brief clip of an incredible program developed by Dr. Darren Morton, someone I’ve had the privilege of meeting and working closely with. Over the years, Darren and his family have taken a keen interest in Naples and our shared commitment to serving our community.
As a facilitator of this program for the past six years, I’m more confident than ever that it would be a tremendous asset to our TwinEagles Members, staff, and their families.
I invite you to be part of our pilot program at TwinEagles. Many participants choose to revisit this program season after season, and I’m confident you’ll find it just as rewarding.
As we look forward to another incredible season, I’m excited to share that we have welcomed back many of our returning H-2B TEAM members, along with several new faces joining us for the 2024/2025 season. Our Golf Operations TEAM is particularly strong this year, with both familiar faces and fresh talent dedicated to ensuring that your experience at TwinEagles is nothing short of exceptional. Each of them is here to "Make a Difference" and enhance every interaction you have during your time at the Club.
I’m also proud to highlight the remarkable TwinEagles Scholarship Program, a testament to the generosity of our membership. Last year, we celebrated nine scholarship recipients, including four employees and five dependents.
The application window for the 2024/2025 scholarships will open on November 1, 2024, and close on February 5, 2025. To ensure that all of our TEAM members are informed about this valuable opportunity, the CCF will be hosting on-site working sessions. When she's not working, Grace loves discovering new restaurants and coffee shops, soaking up the sun at every beach she can find, indulging in some retail therapy, and playing pickleball and tennis though she’ll admit she’s still working on her game. Above all, she cherishes time with her family, friends, and boyfriend. Grace is thrilled to join the fantastic team at TwinEagles and looks forward to connecting with the amazing members of the association.
Grace recently graduated from Ave Maria University with a degree in Communications and is passionate about marketing, writing, photography, social media, and forming new connections wherever possible She has grown her skills through diverse internships, including a marketing role with Barron Collier Companies here in Naples, and Kenneth J. Allen Law Firm in Indiana, where she contributed to enhancing their marketing campaigns and elevating their reputation. Grace brings a wealth of experience in website and social media management, as well as journalistic and blog-style writing, photography, and editing.
