A well-earned celebration
The incredible effort by Torres Shire Council (TSC) staff in support of the Winds of Zenadth Cultural Festival was acknowledged last week, with a well-earned celebration held in recognition of their hard work. Torres Shire Council staff were called in to pause and reflect on the success of the festival, as well as meet, greet and welcome CEO Mary Bani into her new role. Teamwork, community spirit and
continuing to build a strong future for the Shire together were the themes of the day. Pictured are new TSC CEO Mary Bani and Mayor Elsie Seriat (front and centre), Councillors and their hard working staff enjoying a well-earned celebration with Festival coordinator Alex Blanco (right).
