A gift of reading on the streets of Waiben
STORY & PIC THANKS TO CHRISTINA TULLY Thursday Island has a new street library. Residents Remy and Theo Tully built
the library in their home garage out of scrap materials with the help of their family. Remy and Theo said they wanted to share their love of reading with their friends and the community.
“We saw some street libraries when we were travelling and thought it would be a good idea for TI too,” Remy said. “Everyone can come and take a book if they want to.”
