Beach clean-ups this weekend Tangaroa Blue, the Torres Strait Regional Authority (TSRA) and Kaurareg Native Title Aboriginal Corporation invite Waiben and Muralag residents – and anyone else who would like to join them – for a weekend of beach-cleans this Saturday and Sunday. Target beaches include Long
Beach, Sadies Beach, Bach Beach and Waterfront. Water bottle (drinking water provided), covered shoes and sun protection is essential, with a BBQ for volunteers set for 2pm at the Bowls Club on Saturday, and lunch provided on Sunday. For more information contact

Winds of Zenadth Festival update

A good deal of hard work has been done over the past few months in preparation for the most anitcipated event of the year - The Winds of Zenadth Cultural festival. Torres Shire Council said they particularly wanted to acknowledge the crew from Erub who cut 150 Bamboos for Festival. Au Esoau Erub. The Cultural Village Display has also taken
