Aged care workers walk off job Star of the Sea Elders Village workers walked off their jobs on Tuesday, joining thousands of their colleagues in protests from South Australia to Western Australia and across Queensland.

United Workers Union Aged Care Director Carolyn Smith said COVID-19 was the latest burden on an aged care system in crisis.

“When aged care workers walk off the job tomorrow they are
