Slik vi i de andre programmene viser perler fra hele verden, viser vi her det beste fra vår egen utvida nærregion. Tromsøpalmen gis til beste film i konkurranse.
Films from the North presents the best of new shorts and documentaries made in the northern parts of Finland, Sweden, Norway, Russia and Canada. Following the logic of the festival we present regional films one would often not be able to see if not screened at TIFF. The Tromsø Palm is awarded to the best film in competition.
