In December, Mike Greenlay joined Tradition Companies as Director of Brand Marketing and Communications to help grow the Tradition brand. Mike is a familiar personality to Minnesota hockey fans and is well known for his commentary during Minnesota Wild broadcasts.
This past summer, the new North Oaks office was opened marking our 5th Twin Cities metro location. Our 11 overall branches are located throughout Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin.

2019 was a record year for the mortgage team with strong increases in origination volume, employees, and branch locations. Lower interest rates, a busy home buying season, and continued strong new construction business were catalysts that propelled us to a historic year with over $1 Billion in total originations for the first time in company history. Tradition Mortgage also has an industry leading closing percentage of over 70% (drastically higher than industry average of 50%), meaning that we deliver on our promises to close for our clients.
