What defines this event is the people, and their stories. Common people with uncommon stories, sharing their defining moments of despair that has given them perspective they can now use to help others. Stories of Faith. Stories of Hope. Stories of Courage. On Tuesday, November 5th, 2019, at Brackett’s Crossing Country Club in Prior Lake, family, friends, employees and business partners gathered. Four guest speakers were invited to share their stories: Casey Heisler, Tom Shaver, Rich Chapman, and Jack Taggart. From mental health, to organ donation, youth cancer, and the goodness of others, the room was filled with emotion and gratitude.
The takeaway? Find comfort in people that care. The event is intentionally held on Election Day in hopes that it will bring people of all circumstances, parties, and backgrounds together to remind us that life is greater and more significant than our problems. We have a gift to be able to choose our attitude. Don’t be defined by your problems or state of mind - stay positive and find reasons to keep going.

TRADITION DEVELOPMENT Highcroft of Woodbury is one of Woodbury’s newest developments, located at the crossroads of I-94, 494, and 694. ENEBAK CONSTRUCTION This year is looking to be another busy year for Enebak Construction. Moving millions of cubic yards of earth each year takes extraordinary vision, massive equipment, and a talented, dedicated team. We have a fair share of carryover work from 2019, as well as a handful of new jobs starting in 2020 that we are looking forward to working on.

DEWATERING
The site consists of varying depths of black dirt. Some areas throughout the site vary in depth from as little as 1 foot of black dirt to as deep as 20 feet. Due to these varying depths and large amounts of black dirt, ECC has to mine out a 7-acre pond nearly 50 feet deep to obtain the amount of sand that is required to develop the site in.
Most jobs throughout the Blaine area require some amount of dewatering. The HyVee site requires a pretty extensive dewatering process, utilizing hydraulic pumps. There are currently two 8� hydraulic pumps that run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to keep the water at bay. These pumps run to multiple sediment basins that we have built onsite to clean the water. Once the water gets to the basins it runs through a sequence of 2-3 sediment basins to filter out any of the sediment in the water. At that point the water is clean enough, and it overflows through an outlet pipe and into an offsite drainage ditch.
The new HyVee store in Blaine, MN is a project we are continuing to work on throughout the course of the winter. This is the fourth HyVee site that ECC has been part of in the past few years. We have worked with multiple developers and looked at different layouts for this site for over a decade. The challenges this site has, makes it more complex to develop. Not only were developers concerned about the site sitting on an existing swamp, but also the availability of materials and heavy dewatering needs that would require some creative problem solving.

There’s no better feeling than seeing the joy on a child’s face as they open up toys at Christmas. Our annual holiday fundraiser & toy drive event was created to help make Christmas a little brighter and easier for families in the Twin Cities metro
area. The event was a great success and we were able to donate over 600 toys to Toys for Tots and provide 20 HopeKids families with gifts from their children’s Christmas wish lists! RUNNING FOR UNITED HEROES LEAGUE Tradition Wealth Management’s Jake Taylor, completed the 2019 Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon in 4 hours and 47 minutes while wearing a 20lb vest to raise money for the United Heroes League. Da Beauty League was established in the Fall of 2015 by local business people in an effort to bring professional hockey to Minnesota on a year round basis. The league centers itself on bringing fans fast paced professional hockey in a more intimate casual family environment. Da Beauty League serves as a training ground for players as they prepare for their upcoming professional seasons. One night a week, fans get to enjoy three games played out of Edina’s Braemar Arena during the months of July and August. Enjoy a relaxed and exciting atmosphere to watch hockey and enjoy typical intermission entertainment while watching the best hockey talent in the world!
