TRIO Study Hall: The TRIO Study Hall is a great opportunity to get study support from our tutor coordinator, find study partners/body-doubles, meet other TRIO students and enjoy some delicious snacks!

Career Development Workshops

RSVP! TRIO’s End of Year Event

Mark your calendars for June 11th , 4-6 PM, for the annual TRIO Graduation and End of Year Celebration. We will be off campus and outdoors at Tumwater Historical Park.

ALL are welcome: all TRIO Students, friends, and family. We are excited to have Nineveh and Sofie’s Scoops provide the food, drinks, and gelato.

Please join TRIO and ACA for the third part of our career series, The Power of You! In this session: Making Connections, we’ll discuss how to set yourself up for success with networking and business drag- camouflage yourself for corporate America.

Campus Events and Resources

BLISS (BIPOC & LGBTQ+ Intersectional Support Services)

Trans and Queer Bike Ride, May 23rd from 2-5 PM. This one is awesome! If students don't have a bike, the first 20 to register will be given a bike/helmet/lock for keepsies. Slots are going fast! Students with bikes are also more than welcome to join us.

Queer Sex Ed, May 28, 1 - 2:30 PM, SJC. Join us for a fun and informative session with an expert in Queer and Trans Sex Ed.

T4T - Tunes 4 Trans, Red Square, May 30, 6pm start. Join us on Red Square for an evening of live music and drag!

Graduation Cap Decorating; 10:30 AM- 2:30 PM, week 9 and week 10 @ the SEAL. Drop-in and use all of our artsy supplies to personalize your graduation cap!

The DSHS Mobile Community Services Office is coming to campus to help students access important public benefits and support services all in one place.

When: 11 AM – 3 PM on Wednesday, May 14

Where: Red Square

Drop by to:

o Apply for EBT/SNAP (food assistance)

o Drop off paperwork or update your case

o Request a replacement EBT card

No appointment needed. Just bring your student ID and any documents related to your application, if you have them. This is a great opportunity to get one-on-one help from DSHS staff without leaving campus!

Housing: Facing housing insecurity? Evergreen's Case Manager for Student Success provides housing resources and support to work with current students who may be experiencing this need. Email arcbasicneeds@evergreen.edu to set up a meeting with the Case Manager to discuss housing resources.

Basic Needs Center: The Basic Needs Center facilitates access to essential resources such as housing, food, clothing, hygiene products, and community services, at no cost to students. Our Basic Needs Navigator offers private one-on-one and virtual appointments and helps students connect to community resources through tailored referrals and advocacy. The Basic Needs team collaborates with support services across campus and a variety of community partners – including peer support, transportation, health services, legal aid, family support, and more - to ensure students have the guidance they need to navigate local resources/services and overcome challenges. Bilingual support is available in English/Spanish.

When: Mondays, and Fridays from 1-5 PM by appointment Wednesday: 1-5 PM Drop-In (no appointment needed).

Evergreen Satellite Foodbank

In partnership with Thurston County Foodbank, The Evergreen State College offers a foodbank satellite right here on campus to students, faculty, staff and the surrounding community!

When: May 13, May 27, June 10, June 24 from 2-4 PM

Campus Hiring Fair: May 21 from 12 PM to 3 PM @ Evans Hall Lobby

All current and graduating students are invited to our annual campus hiring fair! This is where you can find Evergreen offices and student groups looking to hire for student positions, as well as external employers hiring for current and/or graduating students. Organized by the Student Employment Office, Student Activities, and the Internships Office.

Tabling Tuesdays: May 7, 13, and 20 from 10 AM to 2 PM in front of Evans Hall

External employers looking to connect with students will have a table outside of Evans Hall. Come stop by!

SPSCC Career and Transfer Fair: May 14 from 11 AM to 2 PM @ Building 31 in SPSCC

Various local employers and colleges will be present. Free to attend, and parking is free as well!
