Changing your registration
Beyond the 10th day of the quarter, it becomes more difficult to drop classes and you must fill out a petition to do so.
TRIO can help! If you need guidance with adding or dropping a class, please reach out to your TRIO advisor.
IMPORTANT: If you are a student who receives financial aid, reducing your credit below 12 credits can mean that you will get less financial aid.
FAFSA Update
The Department of Education is updating the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). As a result, the 2024-25 FAFSA will be available in December 2023. This is a change from the FAFSA being available in October in recent years.
The Financial Aid Office will provide more information about the changes to the FAFSA as it becomes available over the coming weeks.
The 2024-25 Priority Application Deadline for the FAFSA will now be March 1, 2024. This is a change from the previous deadline of February 1st in past years.

STUDY TIP
Researchers found that many studies don’t support the use of highlighting as a strategy. This may be because students who use it haven’t been taught how to highlight or what to do with their highlights once they’re done. If you like highlighting or haven’t tried it yet, here are tips to make it a more effective process: Highlighting Tips - LD Advisory
