Triangle is excited to announce $29,672 was raised on our first Day of Giving! 236 members and friends of Triangle generously gave to support the leadership and educational programs that the Fraternity and Foundation fund.
“ As always, I am humbled and amazed at the overwhelming amount of support we received from members and friends on our Day of Giving!” The day kicked off early on Thursday, February 20th with a live broadcast from current National Councilman, Merle Newlon lou73, giving us a history lesson on the current Headquarters, a former Carnegie Library. Merle gave us video updates throughout the day and was joined by Fraternity Director of Operations, Rhonda Halcomb, 1 6

for a showcase of the three Rattles, which are built as part of the Chartering Celebrations when colonies become chapters. Foundation President, Scott Bova, wrapped up the night with a celebratory video, announcing that we were closing in on $25,000 raised! “As always, I am humbled and amazed at the overwhelming amount of support we received from members and friends on our Day of Giving!”, said Bova. “The good programs that the Fraternity and Foundation provide for our members is top-notch and the success of this fundraising effort will ensure that these programs can continue. The bar has been set high for our next Day of Giving, but I know that we can reach our goals next time because of the positive buzz this has generated amongst the membership.
