PEOPLE OF TOMORROW,

UNITY IS ALL AROUND YOU!

How was it for you, friends – your first foray into the beating heart of this magical universe? Were you touched – touched by the enchanting melodies and rhythmic sorcery of the DJs on stage, touched by the sense of love pouring out from the crowd, touched by the hands of fellow People of Tomorrow as you danced, embraced, swirled into a single mass? You must have been, friends, and rightly so. Last weekend, against all odds, Tomorrowland rose from the ashes of what seemed to be a devastating event, only to unite again and emerge stronger. That sense of togetherness and collective effort was still palpable yesterday as the gates opened to welcome thousands upon thousands of

sparkling souls who were more than ready to make the most of their first day at the Holy Grounds. So: to all those who helped make the impossible possible last week – those who cleared the debris, the ones working safety & security, the builders and technicians, equipment suppliers, coordinators, drivers, runners, and everyone else involved (you know who you are!): thank you for pouring your heart and soul into this. Thanks to your work, everyone present was able to see what Tomorrowland is really about: the unity of the crowd and the people who make the magic. Let’s carry that spirit into today, friends, as we swarm the Holy Grounds again, ready for another day of harmonious bliss.

It seems hardly imaginable, and yet it’s a fact: all of Tomorrowland’s wildly divergent sounds can be harmonised into one great Symphony. Today at 17:00 and 21:00, the Symphony of Unity will grace the Freedom stage with an orchestral performance of the great classics of dance music history, running a common thread through all the tracks that unite us. Besides catching one of these, don’t sleep on the Tribute to Belgium at the Rose Garden, have some plain old fun with Vunzige Deuntjes at Elixir, go to selector’s heaven with DJ Gigola & Job Jobse at Atmosphere, or jump into the Mainstage madness with a Dimi & Mike show bookended by performances by Anyma and Amelie Lens. Wherever you go, be as one with the music!

A MAINSTAGE STORY

Hidden behind the Mainstage, you can find a photographic document of the way that it was torn down, and then rebuilt, by Tomorrowland’s heroic crew. Go and take a moment to remember what could have been, and celebrate what is!

HEY, SILLY MOOSE!

It may be summer out there, but that doesn’t mean you can’t party like it’s March and you’re living your best life in Alpe d’Huez. Be sure to pay the Moose Bar a visit this weekend for some of the most highbrow DJ sets you’ll ever hear!

LOVE

TOMORROW, TOMORROWLAND TODAY!

Good morning, all – and welcome to your second morning on cloud nine. As your mind slowly adjusts to DreamVille’s dawnlight, why not kick off the day with some in-depth reading & reminiscing about everything that went down on the Magical Friday of Tomorrowland Belgium 2025, Weekend 2? In today’s edition, find the usual news and music-focused content supplemented by interviews, a fashion feature, and a culinary adventure.

We begin, however, by drawing your attention to something else entirely: on page 22-23, find your daily excerpt from Tomorrowland’s first-ever comic book, ‘The Odes of Orbyz’, based on the theme-that-wasn’t-to-be this year. With lively illustrations and a thriller of a story, this comic is not to be slept on, and a welcome addition to any Tomorrowland lover’s bookcase. Of course, we are publishing a few pages every day, so hunt down all of this weekend’s Tomorrowland Today editions to get the biggest possible preview.

For those who’d like to go more in-depth with their reading, we have long-form interviews with Rampage head honcho DJ Murdock about yesterday’s stage hosting at the Rose Garden (page 8-9), chefs Thijs Meliefste and Nick Bril of the Tomorrowland Restaurant overlooking the Mainstage (page 10-11), and singerturned-DJ John Newman about his musical journey (page 29).

Tomorrowland Today wouldn’t be Tomorrowland Today without letting the People of Tomorrow shine; and shine they do, in their very best outfits, in our festival fashion feature on page 14-15. Slightly less shiny, but all the more fun, are the morning faces of DreamVille, plastered across page 4-6. (As you have probably realised by now, the best part of reading this paper is trying to find yourself and your friends in the pictures.) Other customary sections are the news on pages 7 and 21 and the stage hosting features, line-up, and artist bios in Focus on the Music starting on page 27. Happy reading, and we can’t wait to see you again… tomorrow!

a new dawn

It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day – and you’re feeling… good? Good enough, at least, to take on your first official entry onto the Holy Grounds. Last night’s Gathering may have left a few visible scars: puffy eyes, yawny faces, some mild existential glitter hangovers... But it’s nothing a little sunshine and a lot of water can’t fix. For many, especially those who arrived late yesterday, this morning is their first real chance to explore everything DreamVille has to offer, from breakfast runs to BBQs, from surprise nail salons to inflatable dinosaurs. On your way to the shops or the showers, wandering past sleepy tents, sizzling grills, and full-blown group rituals, what you’ll find is a mix of chaos, charm, and creativity. Here’s what the morning looks like in the city that never truly sleeps.

Poor, poor Sima. She was having the time of her life last night at the Gathering – dancing in the rain, no less – until disaster struck. One misplaced step, one twist, and boom: torn ligaments. Luckily, she’s staying at Spectacular Friendship Garden, where her crew’s been pampering her ever since. Speedy recovery, Sima!
There’s something undeniably masculine about a guy grilling meat in the morning. But on closer inspection, these sizzling snacks turn out to be fully vegan. Not because the grill master is vegan himself, though... “They just don’t expire as fast,” he shrugs. A true pragmatist at the pit.

We are about to ask Jan Stanley about his love for empañadas as a Filipino, until he casually drops the way better story behind his name. “Filipino parents are notoriously bad at remembering birth months. I was born in January, so… Jan.” And suddenly the snack isn’t the most interesting thing here.

spot Stephanie carrying a giant inflatable dino – bright green, hard to miss. “It’s so my friends can find me,” she laughs. “I bought one for each day. I’m the dino girl now.” She’s not sure if it’ll actually work, but hey, we love a woman with a plan.

make it a workout

The party doesn’t stop when the music fades – take the energy from the rave to the mat at the adidas X Les Mills gym, open daily from 09:00. From throwing shapes to throwing punches, they’re flipping the dancefloor into a fitness floor with group workouts that hit just as hard. Music’s always been in their DNA; it’s what fuels every Les Mills workout, with tracks from top artists like those on this year’s Mainstage. The same beats that move you on the dancefloor now power your workout. Come through and say hi.

Sometimes a picture really does say more than a thousand words. Or in this case: a thousand z’s. When morning comes and the inside of your eyelids is still your favourite view, you crawl into a hammock and stay horizontal. No questions asked.

glam go together like toast and butter: eyeliner precision, lashes tripled in volume, and highlighter that doubles as SPF. Meanwhile, the boys next to this table grabbed one (hopefully fresh) t-shirt, a pair of shorts, and called it a day. Simplicity at its peak.

“You guys are from Germany, right?” we ask, somewhat rhetorically, as Carolin and Maik line up for another shot of beer pong – at 11 in the morning. “The cups are filled with water,” they clarify. “We don’t want the dirty ball in our drinks.” Smart… and even more German than expected.

and Miljana threw a gender reveal party at the DreamVille entrance – complete with signs, confetti, and a guessing game. “We wanted it to be memorable,” they said. Mission accomplished. It’s a boy, by the way. Congrats!

You wake up with the best of intentions: shower, teeth brushed, fully dressed, shoes and all. And then suddenly you realise… you’re not quite done sleeping. Which is why this guy is back in his tent, legs sticking out, still snoring. We’ll see you later.

DIVE BEHIND THE DECKS REFRESHING MELODIES

TOP-TIER MEMORIES

Whether you feel like you know Tomorrowland like the back of your hand, or you’re completely new here: the impressive Brussels Airlines Ferris wheel – The ‘Home of Amare’ – is a must-visit. The birds-eye view from up above makes it a great starting point for exploring the Holy Grounds, as well as giving a unique perspective on a world others think they already know inside out. Towering over the Freedom Stage, stepping into a cabin offers a unique escape. Ascending, the music dims to bring you closer to inner peace. As you move skyward, the world stretches out below you, creating the perfect setting for a moment of reflection. Being at the very top of this weekend’s world is equal parts thrilling and captivating. Going back down, you slowly re-enter the hustle and bustle, rejoining the magic with fresh eyes and ears. After your ride, stay a litte longer, unwind in the Brussels Airlines lounge area, and enjoy the music.

VICTOR, WE LOVE YOUR SMILE!

And the winner of yesterday’s sweepstake is: Victor Grilo! We hope you’ll have lots of good times bringing on the boogie with your Tomorrowland x JBL Flip 7 Bluetooth Speaker. Want one too? A COSMOS OF CREATIVITY

Ahh, to have a cold Corona on a thirsty summer’s day… If you’re looking to quench the craving without having to halt your dancing feet, the Melodia Stage by Corona is the place to go. Look out for a giant harp near the Rose Garden end of the Holy Grounds, and you’ll find a cosily enclosed dancing area with an adjoining bar. With artists behind the decks all day, every day, this is the perfect stop to enjoy some refreshing melodies.

Step into the mix at United We Dance, a multi-room immersive experience at the food area behind the Mainstage where projections, lights, mirrors, and impressive visuals blend into a colourful multiverse. An musical journey illuminated by LED lights will pull you in and awaken a sense of thirst, a thirst for adventure and excitement. Quench it by joining the highenergy party that will wow you with cameras, visuals, and a mix of artists bringing their best beats. With a renewed sense of thrill, you might be feeling a little experimental. Try a refreshing Absolut cocktail, like the brandnew Tomorrowland Spritz, to spice up your passage into this hidden cosmos of cocktails and creativity. Dance to the high vibes of this enlightening experience, connect with others who were born to mix, and remember to always drink responsibly.

MURDOCK MURDOCK

KING OF THE DROP

ON A RAMPAGE WITH DJ MURDOCK

More than any other artist, Murdock deserves the epithet of godfather of the Belgian scene: he’s a DJ, artist manager, and visionary curator in one. His brainchild Rampage is a huge event where drum & bass and dubstep peacefully coexist and even synergise on the dancefloor. It is a melting pot of sound where fans of one genre get introduced to the other and vice versa. The annual Rampage rave at Sportpaleis Antwerp is the world’s largest of its kind, and it is with great pleasure that Murdock returns to Tomorrowland every year to present a smaller version of his groundbreaking concept. During yesterday’s hosting at the Rose Garden, he took some time out of his busy schedule to talk us through his genreblending approach and his favourite Rampage tracks.

Murdock, your brainchild Rampage is known for bringing drum and bass and dubstep together. In what way do the genres complement each other, do you see a kind of synergy between the two?

“I don’t think anyone really has the answer to that, but if you look at dancefloor-oriented drum & bass from around 2012 and compare it to a dubstep track, you’ll hear many similarities in the midrange sounds. I think it may be this particular sound design that unites fans of both genres.”

Do you remember when you were first infected by the drum & bass virus?

“Yes, very clearly! I started out as a vinyl hip-hop DJ a long time ago and I was playing instrumental tracks at 45 RPM instead of 33. It wasn’t long before I found out that there were people in the UK doing exactly that, but a lot better than me, and they called it jungle music, which is the style that eventually became drum & bass.”

And what do you recall from the early days of dubstep?

“It took a long time for it to really touch me. That happened as the sound took a more filthy turn when people like Doctor P, Flux Pavillion, and Rusko emerged. That is when the style started being more focused on the drop and then it suddenly hit me.”

What new developments are you seeing in the genre?

“On the one hand, there’s the super-brutal American sound, which some people refer to as ‘tearout’ or ‘filth’. It borders on heavy metal and death metal – you can tell from the sound, but also from the clothes people wear. And then there’s also what we call ‘riddim’, a very rhythmic version of dubstep where everything is based around repetitive patterns that can go on forever. These songs have fake drops as far as the eye can see. You know the kind of buildup that seems to foreshadow when the drop hits? A fake drop is when that is extended for another four, eight, sixteen, or even thirty-two bars.”

How do you put together a programme that navigates between these two genres, drum & bass and dubstep?

“I’ve been doing this for a quite a while now, so the working relationship is quite simple. I just say to Tomorrowland: ‘What do you think about these artists?’ They usually like my proposals and before we know it, we’ve got a list of seven or eight names. From then on, it’s just a matter of filling in the blanks. We finalise the program by asking ourselves questions like: ‘What sounds are we still missing that really need to be represented on the stage?’”

What are some of the qualities you look for in a DJ?

“Track selection is key and technique comes second. You don’t have to be insanely skilled, but you need to be technical enough to convince people; if you’re trainwrecking every other transition, you’ll be emptying the dancefloor. Musical prowess may be the most important thing of all. There needs to be something inside you that you can express through music.”

Drum & bass originated in the UK like you said, but Belgium is also a huge territory for the genre. The scene is massive here. How did that happen?

“Belgium has always been on the forefront of dance music in many different ways. New beat originated here and Detroit techno was instantly popular when it emerged in the 1990s. You had R&S Records releasing big tunes, and in the Dutch city of Eindhoven, right across the border, other people were doing a similar thing. So we’re just in an area where electronic music is very popular. There is also a more simple explanation: Belgium has always been known as a country where people like to eat, drink, and party!”

THE SOUND OF RAMPAGE IN 7 SONGS

For all those who are wondering what Murdock’s kind of music actually sounds like, and for the diehard Rampage fans who want to know the originator’s favourites, we asked Murdock to describe the sound of Rampage in seven tracks. Here are his selections!

1 3 5

INFEKT – ORGALORG [DISCIPLE, 2016]

“A blueprint riddim dubstep track. Many current artists have taken inspiration from this tune.”

USED FT. JAMIE MCCOOL – YOU SAY [BREAKBEAT KAOS II, 2023]

“The best-known track by this standout Belgian artist, whom some people have already called the new Netsky. This is liquid drum & bass with a dancefloor edge and a captivating vocal, making it a huge singalong song.”

DIRTYPHONICS & CIRCADIAN – YOU WANT ME [MONSTERCAT, 2024]

“An explosive dancefloor drum & bass track that comes with 4/4 hardcore sounds and a ginormous fake drop, making it the ultimate teaser.”

RUTH ROYALL & MOLLIE COLLINS – REMEDIES [UKF, 2021]

4 6

7 2

“A super sultry tune that makes people move in the club but also sounds great on the radio. This really is a song for people to make memories to.”

MAJOR LAZER – GET FREE (ANDY C REMIX) [RAM, 2013]

“This version comes with all the grandiose bits of the original, but it has its own twist. It’s the perfect example of how you transform a pop tune into a dancefloor monster. This really is a Rampage classic.”

SICARIA – RHASSOUL [TECTONIC, 2025]

“This recent release by the very versatile Sicaria is a good example of a throwback to the original dubstep sound of the early 2000s.”

MURDOCK – CAN’T KEEP ME DOWN [VIPER, 2018]

“My own biggest tune. Everyone sings along to it whenever I play it. This is my go-to track for every Rampage set.”

TOMORROWLAND RESTAURANT PRESENTS TASTES OF THE WORLD

Travelling across Tomorrowland is an experience that is hard to put into words. But we don’t give up that easily. How about a trip that is nothing short of a holistic journey for the senses, one where music, friendship, and tasting the good things in life come together as one? Unity is a returning theme during this entire magical expedition, one that doesn’t only apply to the People of Tomorrow, but also to the artists that make this place so very special. And artistry is certainly very present in the incredible menu served at the one and only Tomorrowland Restaurant, where four globally recognised chefs have co-created a menu beyond any foodie’s imagination. Thijs Meliefste, Marcelo Ballardin, Nick Bril, and Roger van Damme all have strong identities and followings and – let’s face it – outspoken characters. Crafting a series of courses for over a thousand people is a superhuman task, which is why the four have joined forces to unite the world’s most precious flavours into a food experience that will be remembered by all attending patrons.

Dion and Lynda, Australia

Lynda: “We were taken through different rooms with various little entrées that we could try, and they were all incredible. We absolutely love taking a break in between the stages. Having a bit of fine dining makes the experience really elevated.”

Nina and Yannick, The Netherlands

Nina: “We didn’t know what to expect. We were prepared for something much more casual, but the food was incredible and we were really charmed by the excellent service!”

Entering the Tomorrowland Restaurant is like stepping into another world inside another world. You’d be forgiven for thinking you’ve just entered a library – the entrance room is full of shelves with ancient books. But upon closer inspection, you notice your welcome drink, an exquisite pink cocktail made with vodka, Tomorrowland’s very own Sola Vida wine, and a touch of the finest rhubarb. The ‘library room’ represents only the initial stage of a very unusual restaurant visit that leads you through three different worlds that feel oddly familiar: Orbyz, the Paperworld, and the Heart of the Mirror. “Each room comes with its own appetiser,” explains chef Thijs Meliefste. The Heart of the Mirror brings back memories of Tomorrowland’s 2022 theme, The Reflection of Love. Now, what does such a reflection taste like? Meliefste: “The appetiser served

“We’ve tried to unite the flavours of the world and let them come together”

here, a delicate and savoury rice beignet finished with seaweed and soy, represents a comet that is reflected by the many mirrors in the room. This is how we bring the magical realms of illusionism and food together – do you like it?”

“Creating the menu was a true collaborative effort,” says Nick Bril. We all have our specialities. Some of us work very visually, while Roger is an expert when it comes to the sweet elements on the menu. It’s hard to pinpoint who came up with what. We just bounce ideas back and forth and then add to each other’s pitches until at some point we realise the courses are coming together. In any case, what we’ve tried to do is unite the flavours of the world and let them come together in a way that makes sense to your tastebuds. On top of that, we make

“You’re enjoying great food in a cozy setting, but you’ve got a view of the world’s greatest dancefloor. Isn’t that incredible?”
– Thijs Meliefste

sure that there’s something for both meat lovers and vegetarians. When we reviewed the menu, we made sure to minimise the amount of potential allergens in the dishes.”

“Our starter shows how accessible our menu is,” Thijs continues. “It’s a well-balanced salad of peas, lime, and noodles with crisp softshell crab, finished with green curry sauce, herb oil, and capucine petals. For vegetarians, we replaced the crab with tempura-battered zucchini flower.” While the adventure of

crossing the various rooms is an important part of every visit to the Tomorrowland Restaurant, the starter and main are served in the main restaurant part of the building. Thijs:

“This is when exploration gives way to that sense of unity within a group of friends that you’re looking forward to when you go out for dinner. It’s still an larger-than-life experience, though! You’re enjoying great food in a cozy setting, but you’ve got a view of the world’s greatest dancefloor. Isn’t that incredible?”

MEET THE CHEFS

THIJS MELIEFSTE

After years of experience in Europe’s best restaurants, Thijs Meliefste and hostess Anuschka Meliefste decided to make their own dream come true. Together with their team, they ensure that you lack nothing and feel right at home at Restaurant Meliefste in Wolphaartsdijk, in the south-west of The Netherlands.

MARCELO BALLARDIN

Marcelo Ballardin lived in Brazil, the United States, Italy, and England before settling in Belgium. At his restaurants, OAK and DOOR73, Ballardin surprises his guests time and time again with a refined cuisine that is inspired by both American and Asian culinary traditions.

NICK BRIL

At the mere age of 14, Nick Bril started washing dishes in a restaurant. One year down the line, he was given the chance to help out in the kitchen, where he soon developed a taste for gastronomy. Nick eventually started working at Restaurant Oud Sluis, which is where he fell in love with kitchen rock & roll.

ROGER VAN DAMME

As an outstanding chef-patissier, Roger van Damme developed a delicate and technically sophisticated savoury repertoire in addition to a strong sweet oeuvre. Roger passionately continues to flavour, shape, and colour the fine fleur of the culinary world.

ON AIR, OFF SCRIPT

INSIDE THE ONE WORLD RADIO STUDIO

Up on the hill next to the CAGE, the One World Radio studio has become a permanent fixture during these weekends at the Holy Grounds. Since 2019, it’s been Tomorrowland’s voice to the world, with live sets, artist interviews, breaking news, and spontaneous fan encounters all wrapped into one non-stop broadcast. And if you’re a first-time visitor, don’t expect a sterile glass box. This is a studio with plenty of character. The energy is palpable, the door is always open, and if you time it right, you might just find yourself face to face with the voices behind the mic: Adam K, Camille Pollie, Ben Malone, and Justin Wilkes. We dropped by to spend some time inside the booth, hang out with the team, and chat with Adam about remix drama, a bit of radio mischief, and the power of staying connected –especially when the unexpected happens.

“Steve Angello just commented: Let’s make it happen.”

ONE WORLD RADIO

It’s early evening and the sun is still high in the sky, but inside the One World Radio studio, the lights are pulsing to a different rhythm. As we step in, Adam K is queuing tracks from eight different stages, speaking into his mic mid-fader shift, and waving to a group of curious People of Tomorrow who’ve just walked in. “This place is always buzzing,” he smiles between takes. “It’s part radio, part open house, part madness – but we wouldn’t have it any other way.”

And sometimes, that chaos leads to magic.

“Kevin de Vries and Cassian were playing back-to-back on the Mainstage last week, and before they hit the decks, we spoke to them. They’ve got this remix of ‘Payback’ – the track from Steve Angello and Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman – but it hadn’t been cleared yet,” Adam explains. “So I asked Cassian to record a little video message, something I could show Steve when he came in for his interview later that week – just to show him how awesome the remix was.” It turned out Steve couldn’t make it to the studio due to a scheduling conflict. “But someone in the studio audience filmed the whole thing and posted it online, tagged everyone… and

Steve replied. He just commented: Let’s make it happen.” Adam laughs. “And now, it’s signed. Not released yet, but signed. That’s what makes this place special!”

Adam pauses, looking toward the open door, where new fans trickle in. “This is why I say radio makes contact. It’s not just playing music, it’s about what happens around that.” That connectivity is what makes One World Radio tick, especially when things don’t go to plan. “During COVID, we were live every single week. That connection with the People of Tomorrow really mattered,” Adam says. “And the same thing applied last week with the Mainstage situation. Everyone wanted to know what was going on. We were the ones they turned to.”

Just so, after six years and counting, One World Radio has become part of the festival’s DNA. The atmosphere, the soundtrack, the stories – the whole lot. As we wrap up our visit, One World Radio host Camille Pollie jumps on the mic, laughing about her early-morning run around the Holy Grounds. “You guys were surprisingly fresh!” she teases. Kudos to all of you from DreamVille who attended!

“Everyone wanted to know what was going on. We were the ones they turned to.”

WALK IT LIKE YOU WORE IT

A FASHION ROUND-UP FROM THE HOLY GROUNDS

Tomorrowland isn’t just a feast for the ears, it’s also a visual parade of personal style. Walk just a few steps and you’ll see everything from bold colour palettes to playful accessories and handmade pieces. Some looks whisper “I planned this months ago,” others seem to shout “I just threw this on.” Every outfit tells a story, though, so we went out to capture a few of the best. Here’s what seven stylish souls had to say about their fits.

MAURO

CALLUM

Australia

“I like it basic, but not boring,” Callum smiles. “It should feel like I just threw it on… but it still makes sense.” His look today is loose-fit and nonchalant, sporting a pink Tomorrowland Bandana. But zoom in, and you’ll spot silver rings on nearly every finger. “They all have their own little story,” he tells us. “I pick them up when I travel.” It’s that effortless balance –relaxed staples, personal touches –that gives his fit the perfect amount of confidence.

All black everything. “Presence is everything to me,” says Mauro, aka DJ Acnam. “In our scene – techno, underground – you dress like you mean it.” His outfit is sleek, dark, and functional – like the Slogan Phone Bag that he uses to carry his small things. “I get inspired by artists I look up to. Their style, their attitude, it’s all part of the performance.” Whether he’s behind the decks or in the crowd, Mauro dresses to match the energy. “I want my look to sound like music.”

ISABELLE

Amsterdam

Clean, cool, and all-white, Isabelle’s outfit caught our eye instantly. “I’ve visited Tomorrowland before,” she says. “One thing I’ve learned is that comfort is key.” She keeps it light – in colour, fabric, and fit – to stay chill while dancing. “I get warm easily, so I’d rather play with makeup and accessories to stand out.” Isabelle’s look was topped off with the Tomorrowland Icon Crochet Bucket Hat. And yes, she’s totally pulling it off.

Antwerp

CAROLYN

Seattle

“The inspiration for today’s fit is the movie ‘Dune’,” Carolyn explains. “Pinterest and Instagram helped me pull it all together.” The result is a look that’s effortlessly sci-fi without going full costume. Tomorrow is about pastels, she teases. “And on Sunday, we’re doing cowboys & cowgirls.” The Slogan Phone Bag is looking great with Carolyn’s Dune look, though a Tomorrowland Bandana might come in handy for that Sunday fit!

MARISSA

Texas

“I’m a boots girl, and always have been,” Marissa says, lifting a leg to show off her white cowboy pair. “In New York, where my sister lives, people wear them in summer too. It’s not just a Texas thing anymore!” Her look combines Western footwear with the Tomorrowland Bandana and a dress with a bit more of an edge to soften the country vibe. “I like the contrast,” she adds. “You start with the boots, then mix it up from there.” Consider it done, Marissa.

MARCELLY PAOLA

Brazil

Marcelly credits her hometown of São Paulo for shaping her fearless sense of fashion. “It’s a city of so many styles,” she says. “And festivals there are on a whole other level, because people really show up.” Her outfit blends subtle draping with a certain South American confidence, tied together with the new Rosie Sunglasses. “I’m only an hour away from Tomorrowland Brasil too,” she adds. “So yes, you’ll definitely see more looks from me there!”

Colombia

Paola is serving pure power in allblack. Her handmade two-piece is the ultimate rave look: fierce, bold, and deeply personal. Techno inspires her aesthetic, and every detail of her outfit screams confidence. “It took me weeks to finish this outfit, but it was so worth it,” she says. Paola loves to turn heads and bring her own statement style to Tomorrowland, proving that craftsmanship and attitude create the perfect festival fashion moment.

THE GREAT LIBRARY GATEWAY TO A MAGICAL UNIVERSE

When it comes to new stage designs, there is a lot more to discover than you might think this weekend. Most importantly, The Great Library, formerly known as The Library, has now outgrown the larger-than-life collection of books you may remember from last year. The world of stories and ideas, after all, goes beyond the mere physical; it is a spirited and living reflection of existence itself, and it never remains still for long. So what has it turned into in terms of tangible matter? The Great Library comes in the form of a lush dome of adventure, fully embedded in nature. This, dear People of Tomorrow, is a physical building that thrives on serenity and wisdom – it carries the spirit of every single world that has become familiar to you throughout the years, all the pillars that form our universe of magic. Even if seeing The Great Library for the first time evokes a certain degree of speechlessness, several onlookers were willing to share their own reactions to this monumental new addition to the Holy Grounds.

CHRIS

“I love the natural bridge, it looks so real and atmospheric with the green moss and all. I’m definitely coming back for Hardwell’s set this evening – his energy is incredible!”

IJANA & ANGENI

“The stage is so green! It’s almost like it forms a natural part of the environment. The trains entering the tunnels add a great sense of adventure to the composition. And is that Cinderella, depicted in the stained-glass window?”

CALIN & MONICA

Calin: “I know new techniques come with endless possibilities, but I love how the tech is nicely embedded within a robust physical framework in this design. I also appreciate that the stage is a lot more open than before, when the bars were located closer to the center.”

ANISSA & NOA

“We remember the previous design, it was books as far as the eye could see. This one has even more grandeur, the massive Roman-style pillars are majestic!”

BOILER ROOM PARTY FROM TENTMATES TO SOULMATES

JBL, the grand ambassador of portable sound, is hosting the House of Fortune, Tomorrowland’s one and only ‘boiler room’-type stage. This intimate space pulses with raw energy and surprising sounds, offering you a chance to get up close and personal with rising stars on the edge of breaking through and established names alike. The specially designed booth lets you experience the music from any and all sides, as you dance behind, in front of, or next to the DJ. Every day, the line-up brings refreshing sounds by artists from the JBL Academy, stars on the rise, and big industry names.

FEEL THE HEAT, FEEL THE BEAT

Being surrounded by so many like-minded spirits, it is impossible not to find someone who sparks your interest. Join them to the immersive, high-energy Durex area. Step into Durex’s world of fantasy, tickling both of your fancies and… guided by your unique chemistry, you’ll embark on a sensual journey that lets you discover your personal preferences and your shared connection.

If – either before or after a sleepover – you want to intensify your connection even further, find the Share the Heat vending machine at DreamVille, where your passion meets insight into how perfect your match truly is. Don’t forget to take your limited edition sample!

It started ten years ago, when two tents happened to land side by side at DreamVille. Back then, Lauren and Bernhard were strangers, celebrating the story of Melodia. A decade later, Tomorrowland is still their shared passion, and the perfect backdrop to life’s biggest moments. Last August, Bernhard surprised Lauren for her 30th birthday with a trip to Boom, and on the Stairs of Unity, he got down on one knee. She said yes. Next month, they’ll tie the knot. Any guesses on the wedding’s theme? Tomorrowland, naturally. Happy anniversary, you two!

STAY SAFE, TAKE CARE

Tomorrowland is a drug-free festival. The possession, use, or sale of illegal substances – including joints, poppers, and other recreational drugs – is strictly forbidden under Belgian law. If you’re caught, you risk fines and immediate removal from the festival. Use the drug amnesty bins at the entrance and avoid serious consequences. That said, in the case that you or others around you become intoxicated, staff is not there to judge, but to help. If you feel unwell, overwhelmed, or need support, visit the We Care A Lot zones by the Elixir stage or by the DreamVille Marketplace to talk to a medical or psychological team member.

INDOOR MEETS OUTDOOR

So you love outdoor festival vibes, but also live for indoor club raves? Welcome to Freedom by Bud, the world’s largest indoor dancefloor at a festival. With a mind-blowing LED light installation, ready to beam you up to parallel galaxies, and a sound system that is no less impressive, this massive venue ticks all the boxes for an unparalleled experience. With artists like Eric Prydzm Solomun, and deadmu5, the Freedom Stage draws a crowd for its lin-eup as much as for its sensory experiences. Another definite crowd pleaser? The Symphony of Unity will be put on not once, but twice here today, treating the crowd to a live orchestral rendition of their dancefloor favourites.

THE ODES OF ORBYZ THE FIRST EVER TOMORROWLAND COMIC

For the first time this year, Tomorrowland is also releasing a comic book set within the festival’s theme world. Called The Odes of Orbyz like the theme novel, it translates the story to a graphic format. Over the course of the weekend, we’ll be sharing a page or two every day. Want your own full copy of the story? It’s available for purchase at the onsite Tomorrowland Stores. Happy reading!

FOCUS ON

THE MUSIC

Discovering new sounds across the Holy Grounds is a treat to every music lover, but the overwhelming amount of choice makes it everything but a walk in the park. Where to go, when? How to divide your time between the grandest stages and the smaller, hard-to-find gems? Worry not, as the next pages will serve as your personal guide to Tomorrowland’s magical universe of music. Enjoy the sounds!

PSYGATHERING

PLANAXIS

A Tomorrowland stage hosting partner since 2007, PsyGathering specialises in psytrance, formerly also known as Goa trance due to its initial popularity among hippies on the West Coast of India. The fast-paced style is easy to distinguish from any other electronic genre by its thumping kicks, layered rhythms, chugging bass, and complex, psychedelic soundscapes. PsyGathering’s line-up includes a number of genre-defining artists such as the everdreamy WHITENO1SE, French producer Stryker – much-loved for his driving basslines – and Berlin-based psychedelic master Trip-Tamine. It is thanks to the sounds of these artists that you will enter a higher state of consciousness upon setting foot in Planaxis on this spectacular second day of Tomorrowland Belgium.

VUNZIGE DEUNTJES

ELIXIR

Vunzige Deuntjes, Dutch for ‘dirty tunes’, is an eclectic club and festival concept that’s been tried and tested extensively across the Netherlands. If you love urban music, this is where you’ll be heading today. If you don’t love urban music yet, you may still have to go, because the range of sounds played by the Vunzige Deuntjes DJs goes way beyond hiphop, into the realms of dancehall, reggaeton, and Afrobeats. So that’s music by Wizkid, Vybz Kartel, Bob Marley, and Snoop Dogg, topped off with bouncey beats aplenty. DJs bringing you good vibes by the lakeside today include Jahwin b2b Dieux Père, Fiesta Macumba Soundsystem, and Latu.

LOST FREQUENCIES & FRIENDS

THE GREAT LIBRARY

Tomorrowland regular and certified nice guy Lost Frequencies took a quick look through his friends list and took a decision: the amount of sheer talent was abundant enough to come up with a line up sweeter than a chef’s kiss. As one of Belgium’s finest musical exports, Lost Frequencies knows exactly what is up, what is happening, and who will bring the house down. And luckily for us, his many friends are quite the colourful bunch: there’s longtime Dutch legends Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, drum & bass purveyor Dimension, plus a genre-crossing Netsky closing performance that promises to be mind-blowing indeed. Lost Frequencies & Friends playing the Great Library for you today will be one for the, ahum, books!

DJ GIGOLA B2B JOB JOBSE

Solo DJ’ing is still the norm in the festival scene, but the subtle art of the b2b is on the rise. For the uninitiated: that’s a set in which two DJs share the booth, creating unexpected blends and throwing the dancefloor surprising curveballs. With this year’s edition of Tomorrowland being rich in such DJ duets, each day, we’re highlighting a unique combination to get you excited for the dancefloor.

Today’s featured b2b is a well-seasoned combination. Amsterdam’s Job Jobse and DJ Gigola from Berlin were both avid clubbers long before they were DJs. They grew up in a time when long-forgotten genres like italo disco and trance were reintroduced to the dancefloor. The concept of the guilty pleasure, where you could like a certain song but were ashamed of it, slowly faded. In the minds of Gigola and Job Jobse, such thinking has completely evaporated and they will play whatever feels good – a liberating place to be for a DJ. The two friends know each other well, but will have plenty of sonic ammunition left to surprise each other and their audience with songs from artists likely to be as diverse as Madonna, Patrick Cowley, and Depeche Mode. Mind you, these excellent selectors come from the underground, so be prepared as well to hear plenty of techno, trance, or electro cuts by artists such as Surgeon, Underworld, or Detroit in Effect.

JOHN NEWMAN

“I THINK IT’S IMPORTANT TO ADD NEW ELEMENTS TO EVERY SHOW THAT I DO, AND I GIVE ALL MY ENERGY TO EVERY SHOW.”

If there ever was a DJ at Tomorrowland who forged his own unique path through the ranks, it’d have to be John Newman. Catapulted into fame through early hit singles ‘Feel the Love’ (with Rudimental), ‘Love Me Again’, and ‘Blame’ (with Calvin Harris), he was initially mostly known as a singer and songwriter leaning towards dance music. But he’s since mastered the sonic arts of production and DJ’ing too, and after a hiatus, he has been capturing the hearts and minds of fans anew over the past few years. As somewhat of a Tomorrowland staple, we asked John Newman how it all came to be, and where his career will be heading moving forward, ahead of today’s hybrid performance at the Mainstage.

Your first hit was ‘Feel the Love’ with Rudimental, a big drum & bass anthem. With drum & bass on the rise again, can we expect another one in the genre from you?

“In my show, I do play moments of drum & bass. I’ve always been a massive drum & bass fan, starting when I was at university, so it’s something that lingers. I was working with Netsky recently, and there’s always a possibility… It’d also be quite cool to do something with Rudimental again, because they are like my brothers.”

Some of your tracks feature traditional songwriting, like ‘Feel the Love’ and ‘Love Me Again’. Other songs are more electronic. How do you decide what path to take when you make something new?

“Actually, I made a big change in my career around five years ago, when I had what was basically a burnout and wanted to reinvent myself. As a kid, I’d always loved dance music and I’d done dance collaborations throughout the early years of my career. It was part of that change to go from being more of a solo act to leaning into my dance influences and becoming more of a producer.”

Probably because of that, you made the decision to start doing hybrid live/DJ’ing shows a few years back. How has that been working out for you?

“The dance scene is different, and it’s been an amazing challenge. I have a vision that I work towards every second of every day, and I think it’s important to keep that focus. I want to occupy the gray, hybrid area where I am a DJ, but I’m also a performer. My ambition is to one day close the Tomorrowland Mainstage like this, and I’ll keep working until I achieve that!”

What was your personal connection with dance music before you started DJ’ing? Were you a clubber yourself?

“My connection with dance music started from growing up in the north of England, where we used to go to raves. We used to listen to the type of things they played at Wigan Pier, to gabber and really fast hardcore music. And it reminds me of driving around the summertouched countryside and smoking cigarettes with my friends like idiots, haha. Every time I play dance music, it gives me a deeper feeling, letting me connect to my inner child.”

Your song ‘Blame’ with Calvin Harris has surpassed the 1 billion streams mark. What an achievement! How did you make such a successful song?

“‘Blame’ was an amazing organic journey, really. I met Calvin outside of a studio somewhere, and we got along really well. Musically, we just gelled. I created the first idea for the song on a laptop in the kitchen at Christmas with my family, actually. To see it succeed in the way that it has is both humbling and surprising. I guess it shouldn’t be that much of a surprise given that it’s got Calvin Harris’ name on it. And I don’t know what I was expecting, but it still blows my mind how how big it became.”

Many of your songs, like 2023’s ‘Hold On to My Love’, are energetic with a melancholic undertone. What is it that makes this combination of vibes work for you?

“I don’t know whether I’d consider them melancholic, or it’s just that I need an emotional attachment to the songs. Sure, the lyrics sometimes go into darker places, and I think that’s important. I’m just speaking about my life and personal experiences in my music. I think in dance music, it’s quite rare that you get to hear that, actually. And as we’re moving into the AI period, we might be hearing less and less of it. But for me, it’s really important to keep the ‘song’ in there. The song always wins, whatever style of music it is.”

We heard that you have new music in the pipeline. What kind of songs are you working on? Will the music be on an album? We’re excited to hear!

“I’d love to tell you everything, but that would be taking the surprise out of it! And I love the excitement behind the mystery… I will say, I’ve been working very proactively towards creating a big wave of music in different ways. And it’s coming very shortly, so I’m sure you’ll hear it all soon!

To round off with, what can we expect from your Mainstage show? What should people who have never seen you play before look forward to?

“I think it’s important to add new elements to every show that I do, and I give all my energy to every show. Obviously the Tomorrowland Mainstage is a is a big one, so I’ll be bringing a lot of energy, a lot of new ideas, and a lot of new versions of my old songs. In the end, I just think it’s about the energy I’ll be bringing, the biggest energy I can, and the biggest emotion that I can as well!”

INCREDIBLE SATURDAY

FJAAK

CAGE | 21:00 - 23:00

Take a blender, chuck in some heavy kicks, chopped-up synths and subtle breaks, and out comes the jacking, off-kilter club music that FJAAK is known for. The Berlin-based duo share a weak spot for hardware-based music. (For the freaks: the equipment Felix Wagner and Aaron Röbig use to create their blend of techno, breakbeat, and rave includes the Akai MPC60, Roland SH-101, and Universal Audio 1176LN Classic Limiting Amplifier.) FJAAK gained early attention through a string of independently released tracks and gritty live sets that stood out in the techno landscape for their intensity and unpredictability. In 2014, they released their debut EP on Modeselektor’s 50Weapons label, which led to international recognition. Their self-titled debut album, ‘FJAAK’ from 2017, further solidified their place in the electronic scene with a hardhitting yet versatile blend of music for the floor. Beyond their studio work, FJAAK have earned a reputation as one of the most dynamic live acts in techno, performing across Europe, North America, and Asia. Their sets, often played entirely live using hardware gear, are celebrated for their intensity and improvisational energy. FJAAK haven’t played Tomorrowland since 2022, when they were part of a Drumcode hosting at Atmosphere, so it will be interesting to see how they’ve developed their set since then. If you don’t mind a spoiler or two, you might want to check out their latest EP ‘FJAAK 012’, which features a selection of prime cuts with titles such as ‘Inside Out’ and ‘Don’t Give A F’; hints towards a relentless sound that will leave even the most seasoned techno head in absolute awe.

SUNNERY JAMES & RYAN MARCIANO

THE GREAT LIBRARY | 18:15 – 19:15

Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano are a high-energy Dutch DJ and producer duo who bring pure fire to the dance floor. Starting out in Amsterdam, they quickly made waves with their unique mix of percussive house, groove-heavy beats, and electrifying performances. As producers, they’ve released powerful tracks on major labels and collaborated with some of the biggest names in dance music. Their passion is contagious, you can feel it in every drop, every rhythm. From sweaty club nights to massive stages like Tomorrowland, Sunnery and Ryan turn every set into a wild musical journey. These two don’t just play music, they live it.

DINO LENNY NETSKY

CORE | 16:00 – 17:30

Growing up in the south of Italy, Dino Lenny initially cut his teeth as a local radio DJ before moving on to bigger things: after moving to the UK, his career took off in earnest with a string of original productions and remixes that earned him fame as a minimal and tech house connoisseur. Now decades into a career that took him from Ministry of Sound to the biggest clubs in Ibiza and back again, Dino is at the helm of his own Fine Human Records, an outlet for his own musical vision as well as an imprint to showcase like-minded artists. Today at CORE, let him lock you into a hypnotic groove as he works his specific, slow-burning magic.

THE GREAT LIBRARY | 00:00 - 00:55

A longtime associate of Tomorrowland, Boris Daenen aka Netsky is Belgium’s premier drum & bass export. And no wonder: after topping the national charts with several singles off his second album, including ‘Come Alive’ and ‘Love Has Gone’, he has ventured into cross-over pop territory. During the following years, Netsky collaborated with the likes of Macklemore, Aloe Blacc, and Becky Hill. Meanwhile, the Brussels native stayed true to the melodic style that brought him to the fore. Recent tracks like ‘Remember’ and ‘Out of Body’ show that Netsky hasn’t stopped reinventing himself – both cuts are admirable examples of musical experimentation, and yet oh so delicious.

ONE WORLD ARTIST

One World Artists is Tomorrowland’s official artist agency, where they foster young talents and support well-established DJs and producers from around the world. And those artists usually have more than a little connection to the festival, of course. Here, we take a daily look at a One World Artist and the path they share with Tomorrowland in the past, present, and future.

ANNA

FREEDOM | 15:30 – 17:00

Blazing across the global electronic scene, ANNA is a force of nature, both fierce and meditative, both grounded and transcendent. Hailing from Brazil and now rooted in Europe, ANNA began her musical voyage at the age of 14 and has since grown into one of techno’s most compelling voices. With her Tomorrowland debut in 2019 at the Atmosphere stage, she laid down the blueprint for her sound, a sonic journey that bridges two parallel dimensions: hypnotic, peak-time techno and deep, emotive ambient.

Over the years ANNA has deepened her sonic identity, making it even bolder and unmistakably her own. With releases on pioneering labels like Drumcode, Afterlife, and KNTXT, her productions carry both physical weight and emotional depth. Tomorrowland has become a spiritual home for ANNA, a space where her sound resonates with a global audience open to both introspection and intensity. Her sets are known for flawless mixing, deep basslines, and the kind of immersive flow that draws listeners – both techno adepts and newbies to the genre – into another dimension.

ANNA’s ability to read and elevate the crowd has made her a fan favoùrite at the festival. Whether under the cathedral-like dome of Atmosphere or the endless video screens of the Freedom stage, her music becomes a journey – tribal, melodic, thunderous, transcendent. Each return to Tomorrowland becomes a reunion with the People of Tomorrow, who, in her hands, turn the dancefloor into a sacred ground.

THE MAGIC BROTHERS

RAVE CAVE | 21:00 - 22:30

When Jones & Stephenson’s ‘The First Rebirth’, one of the songs credited with birthing the hardcore/gabber genre, was first released in 1993, it unleashed a subculture unto its own that lives on to this day. Today at the Rave Cave, Franky Jones is joined by longtime friend Francois Maas – one of the key figures behind Thunderdome as well as dozens of other infamous Dutch events –for a kaleidoscopic trip down memory lane and back into the future. With a breezy 70+ years of experience in the hardcore and Dutch dance scenes between The Magic Brothers, this set is sure to be an experience you won’t soon forget!

MAINSTAGE | 17:30 - 18:30

Energetic, cheerful, and inventive are some key words that spring to mind when thinking of Brussel’s Henri PFR. Now 29 years of age, Henri started releasing music from the tender age of 14. Among his first fans was the great Armin van Buuren, who put out the track ‘Tarida’ on his Armada imprint. Henri’s most recent single ‘Run’ features emotive vocals by Ragdall and has already filled up global dancefloors within seconds. A set by Henri PFR equals forgetting about your day-to-day concerns while you dance to infectious grooves topped off by catchy vocals. Brace yourself and get ready to activate those endorphins!

THESE ARE THE SOUNDS OF YOUR INCREDIBLE SATURDAY...

CAGE | 19:00 – 21:00

After years of self-releasing tunes rooted in the queer ballroom and ghetto house scenes, LSDXOXO finally burst into the limelight like a bomb when XL Recordings released his ‘Dedicated 2 Disrespect’ EP, led by that infamous standout single ‘Sick Bitch’. LSDXOXO’s goal is clear from lyrics like the ones on that track: a sexy & sexpositive dancefloor experience propelled by beats that move bodies and vocals that seduce minds. “The community I’ve found since I began clubbing is uplifting in those moments when society isn’t,” he explained in a recent interview. With new album ‘DGTL ANML’ just out, now is the perfect time to check out LSDXOXO’s wonderful weirdness for yourself.

MAINSTAGE | 12:00 – 14:30 & RISE | 18:00 – 19:00

Yves V secured his first hit with ‘Insane Pressure’ in 2009, and has since grown to be a Tomorrowland icon. Today, he is up for a unique double whammy as he plays the Daybreak Session at the Mainstage and hosts his own stage at the RISE. With eight Mainstage performances under his belt so far, Yves the friendly Belgian legend knows exactly how to ease the crowd into the day.
