This post is pivotal for the library service to deliver our ambitious Community Powered agenda. It also manages a significant cost centre budget and manages a large team of staff.

The responsibility of developing Libraries, Library Stock, Mobile and Outreach and Digital Library services fit for tomorrow and beyond isn’t simple. Each one brings a completely different set of challenges, with teams spread across the county. However, if you have the strategic ability to understand what our community needs and the innovation to deliver it, the role will give you both personal and professional pride.

With a c. £3m budget and five managers to lead through, you’ll have the resources you need to broker contracts, manage resources and develop partnerships that re-shape the services under your direct control.
