The job requires knowledge of transport policy and the transport development management process, education to degree level (or relevant equivalent) and experience in a transport strategy/transport policy environment.

Knowledge of the planning process generally, Local Government procedures and transport legislation and practice as well as experience of mentoring and leading a team would be an advantage.

You will have a strong customer focus and commitment to continuous improvement and evidence of continuing professional development.

You will be competent in using relevant IT systems such as Microsoft Office and GIS products and have a full driving licence.
