You will manage the design, development, change, implementation, testing and integration of all financial systems, processes, procedures and reports. You will be responsible for ensuring financial systems are fit for purpose, and that an effective monitoring system of checks and balancing operates. Leading a team of dedicated professionals and working collaboratively with senior officers throughout the organisation, you will help to provide a comprehensive financial management service. You will provide support, advice, and analysis for all aspects of revenue expenditure and income monitoring. You will have experience in senior level local government, excellent communication skills, a wide range of IT skills and good knowledge of budget co-ordination, preparation and monitoring.

Finance Systems Analyst/Administrator Salary: £41,418 - £43,421 – per annum

This focus has ensured that the council is in a strong position financially, with a balanced MTFS, and we are now seeking to appoint a Deputy S151 officer who will help to ensure that the council’s long-term financial health and sustainability is maintained.

Fixed contract for 18 months, with the possibility of a permanent contract.

As an experienced manager with extensive financial experience in a complex multifunctional organisation, you will provide sound financial advice and guidance across the organisation whilst supporting the S151 Officer in their role of providing stewardship of the council’s resources as well as professional financial advice to services, the leadership team, Council and Cabinet.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join a busy finance office team at Teignbridge District Council to assist with the design, development, change, implementation, testing and integration of all financial systems, processes, procedures, and reports.

You will assist with the management, development, and training of a relevant Accounting Technician.
