Town Clerk Salary: £52,752 to £59,418 We are looking for an effective, experienced manager capable of taking the Council forward as it seeks to serve this large and diverse community. The City Council is heavily committed to supporting community development with over a fifth of its budget going directly on community grants and service level agreements with local organisations. We have also achieved Stronger Towns funding to put three electric buses on the road on a free to use tourist and shoppers circular route marketed as Hereford Zipper. Primarily working within a Construction environment, our Electrical Construction works consists mainly of commercial and domestic works. These can range from new build properties, renovations, upgrade, and maintenance works across Newcastle City Council and Your Homes Newcastle properties. Where required, you may be asked to take ownership of an NCC vehicle for work duties.

WASTE AND TECHNICAL SERVICES MANAGER
You will lead on the development and implementation of our revenue and capital highway maintenance programmes including being instrumental in championing asset management, planning and pavement management principles across the wider Highways and Transport design and delivery teams. You will develop, monitor and review our Asset Management Policies and Strategies and ensure that appropriate data is collected and interpreted in a timely manner to influence decisions and support a proactive performance management culture. You will be responsible for data management within the Highways and Transport Division with specific responsibilities for the National Street Gazetteer ensuring that condition data is interpreted in a timely manner to allow effective production of relevant performance management data. You will also lead work relating to the development of Countryside Policy, the County Council's Definitive Map and Statement and protected landscapes responsibilities.
You will prove to be flexible and adaptable, with an aptitude for adjusting quickly to the needs of a project or changing its parameters. Significant project management experience at a senior level is therefore essential.
ELECTRICIAN Salary: £35,250 (made up of £23,500 salary plus £11,750 50% Interim Operational Allowance) Are you an experienced Electrician? This is a great opportunity for you to join a busy Building and Facilities team at Durham County Council, on a permanent basis.
