Systems and Operations Technical Support Manager PO2/PO3: £37,336 ‐ £43,421 Permanent 1 x 37 hours per week Based at Britannia House Bradford Council received a ministerial directive to develop a Clean Air Zone (CAZ) to improve the district’s Air Quality. The Clean Air Zone was launched successfully in September 2022 and the CAZ Operations team now require a Systems and Technical Support Manager to optimise the performance of the networks and assets that underpin the Clean Air Zone and other functions. The Systems and Operations Technical Support Manager will lead on the technical and analytical support and maintenance of the technology solutions and systems associated with the CAZ. They will also contribute to the support and maintenance of other CCTV, UTMC and ARC systems. The role holder will ensure cost effective and timely completion of repairs and minor installations to systems on‐street, within customer’s property and within the Council Control Room. In addition to technical capability the role holder will be able to assist with continuous service improvement to enable data collection, reporting and performance measurement. The successful candidate will have: • Experience in analogue and IP based CCTV systems, intruder alarms and access control systems. • Experience in IT networks including fibre optic systems and good experience of Lan/WAN/VLANS/Firewalls. • Previous IT technician experience in an ARC / CCTV or similar Control Room Environment • A minimum of 3‐5 years’ experience working in a similar role. EARLY YEARS AREA MANAGER Salary: from £35,000 pa negotiable depending on experience, plus company car, PMI and other benefits We are looking for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Area Manager to be a leader for our expanding teams across all four Nurs‐ eries! The role of the Area manager is dedicated to maintaining and improving the quality of provision offered across the groups settings whilst ensuring compliance with Ofsted and EYFS statutory requirements. You are responsible for all aspects of the nurseries operations and compliance. You will be leading the exceptional team we have and supporting them through their own career journeys together with ensuring that we maintain the excellent reputation that we have, and importantly, outcomes for the Children. You will understand Early Years best practice and ensure that this is embedded in practice and delivery across the group. Your exciting role will include the following: • Lead our nursery teams to deliver outstanding care to all the children across the group • Drive employee engagement, retention, and performance across the group • Work alongside the Directors to ensure each nursery is fully recruited. • Assist and support the nursery management who are responsible for the daily operation of the nurseries. • Ensure all policies and procedures and Ofsted statutory requirements are maintained at all times. In the absence of a manager you may be required to provide cover on an interim basis. • Complete quality compliance audits and ensure standards are met. • Supporting settings to develop action plans to further improve on provision. • Maintain regular reviews analysing children progress to ensure practitioners are tailoring learning experiences, and the curriculum to meet children’s needs

Filey Town Council is seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join us as our next town clerk. The opportunity of becoming the town clerk to Filey Town Council has arisen with the planned retirement of the present incumbent on 31 March 2024. The town council are seeking to appoint the new town clerk to take up the post before the end of February 2024 to allow a smooth transition. This is an exciting opportunity for a forward‐thinking person to contribute to the smooth running of the town council. The successful post holder will be expected to carry out the functions of the RFO and be the proper officer, serving all statutory notifications for the town council. The town clerk is responsible for leading the day‐to‐day management of the assets and services of the town council that is undertaken by the three other members of staff. The successful candidate will work in partnership with the staff, councillors, the local community, and business sector and external partners. Town Clerk and RFO

Salary: £24,702 per annum

The City Council is heavily committed to supporting community development with over a fifth of its budget going directly on community grants and service level agreements with local organisations. We have also achieved Stronger Towns funding to put three electric buses on the road on a free to use tourist and shoppers circular route marketed as Hereford Zipper. But we still have a council that is steeped in history and tradition, with a collection of charters and silver, regular participation in the Three Choirs and full civic presence on Remembrance Day and at the annual May Fair. We also still represent the City on planning applications and licensing proposals and work with local economic development bodies including Herefordshire Council. If you have the ability to cope with a diverse and varied role, cope with frequent changes to priorities and to deliver consistently excellent management across all areas of our activities we would like to hear from you. Ideally you will already be a qualified clerk, but if not you will need to be prepared to commit to study for that qualification within two years of appointment. You will need a knowledge of local government and in particular of meetings, agenda, minutes and be able to act as our Responsible Financial Officer if required. You will need experience of negotiating and speaking as a representative in public. The salary is paid on national rates SCP 44‐49 £52,752 to £59,418 (ris‐ ing by 3.88 in April 2024) and is full time with 26 days annual leave with three extra statutory days at Christmas. The post is on standard NJC conditions of service. The hours are 37 per week with some evening meetings and occasional weekend work as required. Project Manager (Climate Change) Salary: £44,428 to £46,464 per annum; BUPA Cash Plan, LGPS Pension; Up to 32 days leave; Workperks It’s an exciting time to join Warwick District Council’s Climate Change Programme Team. Our role is to develop some major projects for green and other public spaces. This meets our objectives to plan and invest for the long-term benefit for the people and environment of the district. As Project Manager, you will have experience of working on a range of projects that preferably includes green spaces. You will be motivated to create project ideas based on agreed concepts before researching them. Then you will develop the plan for business approval before delivering it. You are unlikely to get repeated project content in this role – nothing is formulaic. Your drive to find and deliver solutions will be matched by your ability to deal with stakeholders, internally and externally. You will be making the business case; steering colleagues and partners to deliver; responding to queries from local communities and convincing potential project funders to support you. You will prove to be flexible and adaptable, with an aptitude for adjusting quickly to the needs of a project or changing its parameters. Significant project management experience at a senior level is therefore essential. The intention is for the postholder to work from home. However office and hybrid working are also available. Whilst home working is offered for this role, it is a requirement that the successful candidate be available to attend meetings at our offices within Warwick District when required.
