Senior Corporate Property Officer Salary: £36,298 ‐ £40,478 Pay Award Pending Rugby Borough Council is looking for an experienced motivated individual to assist with the development of contract specifications and schedule of rates for the maintenance, improvement and alteration for all corporate buildings including all mechanical and electrical installations and building fabric. Newcastle City Council (City Transport) are seeking an experienced time served motor vehicle technician to take up a permanent position. The successful candidate would join the team in our Heavy Goods vehicle workshop at Newington Rd.

As part of the ongoing development of our Trust team to support our establishments, we have a new opportunity for an Estates and Environment Leader to join our team of professional and dedicated staff.

City Transport maintains & repairs a diverse range of vehicles, plant, & horticultural equipment as well as having two MOT stations, testing class 4,5 & 7 vehicles & Licenced Taxis & hackney carriages. The successful candidate will have the skills & experience to achieve the effective & efficient maintenance, diagnostics, & repair of the council’s Large Goods Vehicle (LGV) fleet, including an understanding of VOSA standards enabling them to prepare & present LGV’s for MOT. They will have served a recognised apprenticeship in motor vehicle engineering to NVQ level 3 or equivalent & be conversant with the maintenance & repair standards in relation to operator licencing. A category B driving licence is essential with category C LGV licence being highly advantageous.
