Manager Salary: Circa £30,000 Full Time: 37 hours Milen Care is a well-established charity based in Batley, providing care services for Asian elders and adults over 18 with a disability in the North Kirklees area. DEPUTY MANAGER - WELFARE AND COUNSELLING SERVICES Salary: £33,348 - £35,308 starting, with progression to £43,155 per annum The Welfare and Counselling Service at Newcastle University places students at the heart of delivery and we are excited to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Deputy Manager to support this vision. This vital leadership role would suit a candidate with experience of working in dynamic and fast-paced settings with a contemporary understanding of the educational context. We require someone who is flexible, proactive and understands the relationship between academic study and wellbeing. You will provide line management to both Counselling and Welfare teams along with various personnel duties. You will be a key part within the senior escalation process to provide consultancy to colleagues and support students (and their families) who may be at risk or in distress. You will have primary responsibility for the Evening Clinic team, where we offer a large number of counselling placements. This will include working one evening shift per week, 1-9pm, and be available for occasional cover as required.
