We are currently recruiting for an experienced and innovative Registered Manager to support the opening of a new home in the Durham area. You will have the responsibility of bringing together and evolving a new team to support young people in their day to day lives. A strong sense of leadership, the ability to teach, motivate and cultivate a positive and dynamic environment for our young people is essential.

Birmingham’s Out of Hours service have an opportunity for 2 Specialist Practitioner AMHP’s with a minimum of 2 years relevant post qualification experience. You will undertake assessments across Birmingham City Council area only to fulfil the statutory duties of the Local authority working with our most vulnerable citizens, whilst adhering to the relevant legislation, policies and procedures. You will work as part of a supportive and sociable team covering the city at night. You will be reliable, committed, have an excellent understanding of the law and related legislation You will work with autonomy and limited supervision, demonstrating a significant level of confidence and specialist skills required when working at night within and diverse city. Time and a third will be paid for unsociable hours from 8pm6am, including weekends across a rotating shift pattern.

SERVICE MANAGER PARKING SERVICES Salary: £59,612 - £63,242 per annum Hours per week: 37 hours per week You will lead a multi-disciplined Parking Services team providing an efficient range of services including the management of the councils car parks, our enforcement and notice processing teams and our green travel plan and travel office. We are looking to appoint an experienced and forward-thinking Service Manager to develop the services whilst creating efficiencies and opportunities to maximise income. Your duties will include the management and development of the human, physical and financial resources to deliver the variety of parking services. You will also be responsible for managing the production of performance information, finance and project planning and co-ordination. The post holder will work with managers and stakeholders to ensure that the highest possible professional standards are maintained through effective leadership and the responsive management of resources ensuring that the councils car parking offer is efficient, effective and sustainable.

(English Gambling Education Hub)

The English Gambling Education Hub is a new initiative, funded by GambleAware and working in partnership with GamCare, that seeks to reduce gambling harm amongst young people by bringing together and improving the capabilities of providers of gambling education and information. As an Engagement Lead you will form part of the Hub Team, working in your region to engage key stakeholders, publicise the work of the Hub, and recruit members to the English Gambling Education Network. The successful candidates will hold a Minimum level 4 qualification in youth work, social work, education and health promotion or youth or equivalent. Be capable of independent travel across the North East region, and have experience of promoting/marketing a service or programme and engaging specific audiences to get actively involved. They should also have knowledge of stakeholder management strategies ideally with existing stakeholder relationships within the youth services, family services and formal education sectors within the region.
