Using your thorough understanding of Lean Thinking principles, and with an eye always on customer value, you will map our existing processes, carry out stakeholder analysis, robustly challenge our current ways of working, look for opportunities to digitalise wherever we can, produce and communicate new process maps, and manage process trials to prove delivery of the expected improvements. Initially you will be working with colleagues in our public realm and housing directorates, helping us to make sure people are delighted with the outcomes we achieve. You will be an experienced business analyst and process engineer with a thorough understanding of how to practically apply Lean principles and be able to evidence how you have increased customer value and/ or reduced process cost as a direct result of your input. This opportunity is offered on a 12 month contract, full-time 37 hours per week. The posts are generally suitable for hybrid working, though some aspects of process observation, stakeholder engagement and improvement testing will require on-site presence.
