Schools Estates Officer Salary: £37,000 - £40,000 The Schools Estates Officer is an important and influential role in the Diocese of Lichfield. The Lichfield Diocesan Board of Education (LDBE) has responsibility for 206 Church of England Schools and Academies across seven Local Authorities. As Schools Estates Officer you will lead on the strategy for the (DBE) in relation to expanding church school provision and our impact upon the environment. You will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of reports to the DBE for educational expansion, development opportunities and capital works relating to existing and former church schools and educational sites. You will also provide support and guidance to schools in relation to land and buildings, whilst managing the programme of building and maintenance projects for which the DBE holds responsibility, liaising with schools and project managers. A crucial part of our strategy is to assess the environmental impact of the diocese’s church schools, planning for and supporting schools to advance decarbonisation and energy efficiency projects.
