Role Overview: The Programme Director of the Design + Make taught postgraduate programme is responsible for the design, delivery, staffing, and management of the D+M MSc (12 month) and MArch (16 month) degree programmes delivered at Hooke Park, the AA’s rural campus in Dorset. This academic leadership role includes outreach and recruitment, delivery and assessment of the programme curriculum, budgeting and staffing arrangements, meeting regulatory requirements, and providing pastoral care to all students enrolled on the programme. Hosting visiting AA students and other guests, as well as representing the programme’s interests on committees and working groups as relevant, is also expected. There is scope to redesign and extend the programme in future, in consultation with the Academic Board of the AA School and the Head of Teaching and Learning

This position assumes the successful candidate is willing to reside near Hooke Park after a probationary phase.
