Assistant Headteacher – Inclusion L2 – L8 (£44,441- £51,531) Full-time Permanent For September 2021 (or earlier if possible) Lakenham Primary is a forward-thinking school, which has school staff who are outward looking, child centred and willing to try out new ideas. The school is a larger than average, two form entry Foundation school with up to 480 pupils on roll; situated in an area of significant socio-economic contrasts, including a high level of mobility. To be considered for this role candidates must be confident, experienced teachers who are ready for school-wide leadership or a current accomplished Assistant Headteacher who has more to offer. They must have a track record of at least 'Good' or 'Outstanding' classroom practice, desirably across the primary school age range. Someone who has the ability to provide inspiration and motivation around which a team can find cohesion and success; having the ability to raise the performance of those around them and the ability to work well with parents and governors. This role is class based, the number of days and year group depends on the needs of the school. Purpose Under the direction of the Principal, to work on developing and delivering the aims of the Academy Development Plan, particularly relating to Inclusion, Behaviour and Welfare. The Vice Principal will be expected to deputise in the absence of the Principal and assist with the day-to-day running of our large academy.
