Assistant Headteacher £38,000 - £45,000 Hope View School is seeking to appoint an ambitious leader to the position of Assistant Headteacher to work with our senior leaders to support the continuing development of the school. The successful candidate will join an experienced group of senior leaders and applications are welcome from colleagues with experience of specialist provision or from those working in a mainstream provision wishing to take on a new challenge. Post requirements: • The successful applicant will need to possess the following qualities: • Experience of working with pupils with Special Educational Needs would be an advantage but is not essential. • Willingness to work within a small team and an organised but flexible approach is crucial. • High standards of classroom management, professionalism and expectations of pupils are also required as is the ability to be empathetic, understanding and supportive of pupils and their needs. • A relevant degree and teaching qualification. • Experience of teaching maths and/or science at KS3 and KS4, including to GCSE level would be advantageous. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a small team. • An understanding of the ethos of the school and the ability to work within this ethos in order to support and develop all pupils regardless of ability, education, behavioural, social or emotional need. • A willingness to play a full part in the life of the school with regard to teaching, pastoral care, curriculum enrichment activities and building positive relationships with pupils and staff alike. Typical Duties as a Motor Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester include but are not limited to: • Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Cars • MOT Testing • Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify vehicle Faults. • A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent • A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence • Dedicated and committed approach • Your own Vehicle Technician tools Working hours/days: - (We are a flexible employer and would consider different hours or Part time.) Monday to Friday; 8:00am - 5:30pm Saturday: 9:00am - 1pm As required Interest in Window Tinting or Custom exhaust would be an advantage. Ability to weld would also be an advantage but not essential.
