Specialist (Accountant) Salary details: £31,371 - £34,788 per annum We are currently seeking to recruit a Finance Specialist to provide support to South Hams and West Devon Councils. You will be experienced in providing a wide range of accountancy support, ideally within the Public Sector. The post holder will be expected to provide technical finance advice, interrogating and understanding financial information for both revenue and capital. Other duties will include budget preparation, overseeing budget monitoring, completion of government returns and Council Tax setting. The post holder will also play a key part in closing the accounts. You should be AAT qualified or working towards the final stages of the qualification and be able to demonstrate at least 2 years experience in an accountancy role.
