Thanks to ideas and feedback from past participants and the Fremantle community, we have created this program for diverse interests, and people of all ages and abilities. Come and Try for over 55s: Come join in a fun-filled Friday to learn the basics of macramé. Bernadette will guide you through the process of creating your very own stunning macramé wall hanging. This workshop will teach you various traditional macramé knotting techniques which you will use to create a beautiful boho style wall hanging.

Get Learning Create a Verge Garden

Start creating your own verge garden! Join Greening Australia for this hands-on workshop and learn how to create a sustainable verge habitat that will be a urban oasis for local bird life. The workshop includes a presentation on local birds and their habitat, garden design and examples of which plants to use. There will be an optional visit to a local verge garden. Gentle flow yoga

Come and Try for over 55s: Whatever your age, ability or level of activity, you are welcome to join Gentle Flow Yoga for Over 55’s. You will be guided through a gentle flow class to help you gain energy, flexibility, balance and focus. The poses are modified to suit anyone and will help strengthen and stretch your muscles. The breath awareness exercises will calm the nervous system and help quiet the mind. BYO exercise mat and a light blanket.

Chair Yoga

Come and Try for over 55s: Enjoy the benefits of yoga in a gentle class accessible to anyone. Practice seated or standing yoga poses to help benefit your mobility, flexibility and relaxation.
