My name is Darragh Lincoln and this is my portfolio. I hope whom ever views this work can see how much of myself I have put into this collection of images.

Growing up I had many dreams and many interests. Later focusing on the things that stimulated my curiosity and fueled my passion for creating art. It was’nt till early 2000 that I had my first introduction to the adobe software, that my obsession with understanding how to harness the creative power of digital technology began. Now some twenty years later the world is run on digital with the focus moving forward even more ubiquitous digital intergrated into our lives. It has been a challenge learning all the different technologies that are involved in digital design. From Hardware to OS software, then specific 2d and 3d design programs, and now officially certified as a pro user of the Adobe Design Suit.

This is a presentation of my creative and technical skills, it is the culmination of years of hard work. Doing this ETB adobe certified course has been a great learning experience that has helped me understand how to get the most out of my digital design projects.

My moodboards are not designed in the conventional way. I thought about what each season means to me and how I feel differently as each season passes. I wanted to create mood boards that will stir up emotions and make you think of and feel moments of winter or summer .

MOVIE POSTERS

I am a big fan of Daniel Day, he is a talented character actor and this is one of his best roles. I really liked the moody tense atmosphere of this movie and wanted to create a poster that shows the power and fury of Daniel Plainviews ambition.

PERFUME PROJECT

This project was an interesting challenge, it was out of my comfort zone. I thought about what the female energy and spirit represents and I thought about strong women I have known in my life and used that to try and present work the displays the confidence and strenght but also the fragility.

This project is the start of a more technical structured design approach to my work. I really experimented with clipping masks and blend modes to create this image.

CREATIVE PROJECTS

This section of the portfolio displays my best digital design work to date. This collection has been inspired by the Native American side of my personality. My American father is part Cherokee Indian and throughout my life I have spent time learning about that culture and learning how I am connected to it.

This work has also been used to create motion graphic video’s where the ultra key green screen was used to make some interesting special effects that enhanced the work and gave it a high quality look that I am excited to share.
