y name is Salim CHENNIT and I started to draw and sculpt from the late 80s as a child and continue to do so to this day.
I strongly believe that I have a very good social skills that alows me to understand what people want. I also kept the mind of a child when it comes to imagination and being creative, which help me to sort out the problem from others angles. As far as I remember, my favourite thinks in life was a blank paper where I could create mine own unique universe. I dedicates my life to become a beter person, beter artist and never stoped to learn and improve.

I helped a client to develop characters of his next book by illustrating them. He was looking for some type of creatures from the undergrownd world, so with combining refferences of animals living underground and my imagination, this is what i came up with.
But it was too realistic and scary for him, so I tried something more friendly
Here is some illustrations that i did for a fairy and magic forest book
This is an example of the digital art theme. Drooling ape was the subject, so I tried to find something that people can recognise within a popular commedy...
But something went wrong, so I had to sent an apology to the group and created the Apepology
One of my personal projects was to design a series of products intended for smokers. This is one of the prototypes.
During my study, we had to make a book cover and for that, I picked one old drawing that I did 20 years ago. I looked at picture and I came up with some ideas for the story and the title.
I called the book “Centaur the Protector”
We also had to work on a new design for a peanut butter jar named JIF and place it on jar mockup and Facebook mockup. This is what we started with...
So I began to do some fun characters as the product is designed for famillies with children and I came up with a adult peanut holding a baby peanut. I drew the characters and coloured them with Adobe Photoshop.
After creating the characters, I designed this lable and put it on a mockup above.
At first I tried to sketch with the mouse a face of some old man with the details of the wrinkles...

Name Peacock
Field of activity Building company
Slogan From the ground up
In this assignment, we had to create logos for different type of companies.
We only had the name, their purpose and the slogan to come up with a design.
After observing a peacock feather, I tried to fit a house inside...
Slogan In it to win it
For this logo, I started to scatch the scale of justice but quickly moved to the slogan which is suggesting that the company is willing to put the pressure to win. First I tried a hand pressing on the scale but choose to put the foot down instead, that way I had the “M”of Morfetta.
For this logo, I started to write the initials and went towards the shape of a pill.I also wanted to add an arrow pointing up to represent the performence side of the product. After drawing a healthy man drinking after an exercise, I decided to go for more heroic shape and it was fitting the slogan better.
Name Straight Ballin
Field of activity Food Supplements
Slogan You are what you eat
For the slogan, the first idea was a thumb up...

But soon after i thought who are considered to be the best metal workers? And the blacksmith dwarfs came to my mind so I decided to design a blacksmith dwarf robot. After drawing my character, I create a silouette of it and Voila!

Fitness Centre
Be an inspiration
For the C4 Fitness idea, I first made sketch of a body builder, but abonded the idea and focused on the name of the brand.I only used C4 but I wanted to stretch it like a track which alowed me to add “Fitness” to it . I was trying to give it a shape of a trainers or a Treadmill..
Name Brass Dog
Field of activity Security
Slogan
Always Alert
After reading the slogan, I started with the tower from “The Lord of the Rings” with the eye of Sauron. Then I thought to place it on alert cyclop dog. The result was a litle bit comical so I moved the eye above the head of a gardian dog. And for the colored version,
I researched the CMYK percentage of a brass texture and I applied it with gradient.
As showned on the sketches, I started with a rounded shape with yin and yang idea forming the B of Belvia. I decided to keep the rounded shape but went for the sunshine instead and put the silouette of B inside of it. I wanted something peaceful in the logo so I drew a woman’s face with hair in the wind.
Elixia London
Field of activity Finance and Investment firm
Slogan We focus on your tomorrow
Before starting with initials of the Elixia London logo, I’ve got inspired by the word “tommorow” from the slogan and draw a road heading towards the sun.
After that I knew I will make the logo in a perspective like this road heading towards the sun.
I combined initials of the brand in a shape of a diagram, reaserch and applie the exact colors of theEnglish flag...
