uke Days, Arizona’s premier air show and a community tradition, has been canceled for the third year in a row. This year, hopes of a return on March 19 and March 20 were high, but the 56th Fighter Wing command team ultimately made the decision to cancel the event in mid-February. The show, usually held every two years, is a mix of military and civilian aircraft that provide demonstrations. There are dozens of aerial acts, ground acts and static displays. In previous years, the air show has seen hundreds of thousands of people attend. Here’s a look back at some of the highlights of Luke Days throughout the years.
