T
he Arizona Restaurant Association has come to the rescue of dining establishments suffering because of the recent state of emergency. It has debuted Arizona Takeout Week, which runs through the coronavirus closures. The event is meant to help restaurants and the diners who depend on them for daily sustenance survive what is an unprecedented crisis in the industry. The initiative sheds light on restaurants offering pick-up, curbside and delivery options during this time. “We appreciate and thank Gov. Ducey for his efforts in working with the restaurant industry to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus,” Arizona Restaurant Association President and CEO Steve Chucri says. “The Arizona restaurant family appreciates his work and that of all elected leaders in our state during this unparalleled time in our history.”
