n 2016, the success story of Estonian watches was the front cover of this magazine's opening issue. The AEGAON brand, with a unique design, started out with men's watches, but has finally discovered what women really want. As well as this, the company's online store has also grown into a real store located at the edge of Tallinn Old Town. AEGAON has been a strong men's brand from the very beginning. How have you managed to steal women's hearts as well? Women have literally been demanding watches from us for years now. We had been going back and forth with designing a woman's watch for several years, until we realised that women are actually expecting the same thing from us as men – a powerful, simple and distinctive design, only with more appropriate dimensions. So, in essence, we had to do what we have been doing all along.

astal 2016 oli esimeste Eesti käekellade edulugu käesoleva pardaajakirja avanumbri kaanelooks. Harjumuspärast disaini trotsiv bränd alustas meeste käekelladega, kuid on lõpuks ära tabanud ka selle, mida naised tegelikult tahavad. Vähe sellest, ettevõtte e-poest on tänaseks välja kasvanud ka päris oma esinduskauplus Tallinna vanalinna serval. AEGAON on algusest peale olnud tugev meestebränd, millega õnnestus teil nüüd ka naistele põue pugeda? Naiste käekellasid on naised meilt nõudnud aastaid – ja seda sõna otseses mõttes. Leiutasime jalgratast mitu aastat, enne kui saime aru, et tegelikult ootavad naised meilt seda sama, mida mehedki – jõulist, lihtsat ja harjumuspärasest eristuvat disaini, ainult sobivamas

At a time when businesses are moving from the streets and going online, AEGAON did the opposite – why, and was it the right step? A watch is an accessory that people want to see and try on when possible, especially with smaller manufacturers like AEGAON. It is also important to know that the customers have a real place with real people to turn to if they have any issues. Also, it gives us the opportunity to learn more about our customers and receive direct feedback from them. The online store (aegaon.com) will still be open and will definitely still be our main channel of communication with customers from all over the world.
