As we approach the end of the year, I would like to thank you for your continued trust and support. This has been a year full of positive developments for our community, and with excellent occupancy rates. We have seen a steady increase in demand for Timbers homes and long-term rentals, which is an encouraging trend for everyone.
We’ve worked hard, with a spirit of mutual respect and cooperation, to successfully improve our relationship with our most important neighbor, the Belmond Hotel Castello di Casole. Hearing your positive feedback about this is a confirmation of the good work done so far and brings me so much joy.
It was truly a pleasure to see you at the Owners’ Receptions and to connect with you during your stays on property. These opportunities to meet in person are always valuable, as they allow us to share updates and strengthen our sense of community.
We are currently working on a few improvements for the property that I look forward to discussing with you in more detail at the upcoming Annual Owners’ Meetings. While it may be a little early to share specifics, I am confident that these enhancements will contribute positively to your experience and to the long-term value of your investment.

A few weeks ago, we said farewell to Raffaella. While we are sorry to see her go, we could not be happier for her as she embarks on this exciting new chapter. We are deeply grateful for her hard work, dedication, and the positive energy she brought to our team each day. Please join us in wishing Raffaella all the very best in her future endeavors.

We are pleased to share that Roberta, who has been with Casali di Casole since 2013 and has served as Head Concierge for the past seven years, has stepped into Raffaella’s role. She continues to ensure that the high standards and exceptional service established over the years carry on without interruption.
We are also delighted to announce Anna’s welldeserved promotion to Head Concierge—a milestone that reflects her remarkable 15-year career in the Concierge Office. Her dedication and genuine care for our Owners have consistently gone above and beyond, creating experiences that make everyone feel truly at home.
The Concierge Team, together with our talented chefs, has crafted an exceptional lineup of Autumn and Holiday menus, celebrating the flavors of the Tuscan harvest and festive season. Through special dinners and cooking classes, they will showcase fresh, seasonal ingredients that capture the essence of this time of year. The team is always available to assist with any requests and to help you plan unforgettable dining experiences with family and friends.


From Sunday, January 11, through Saturday, January 24, 2026, the estate will be closed for scheduled maintenance. During this period, most homes will undergo upkeep and infrastructure improvements, and no Owners or guests will be on property. The Concierge Office will operate on a limited schedule throughout this time. We look forward to welcoming Owners and guests back to the estate beginning Sunday, January 25, 2026.
The Belmond Hotel Castello di Casole will be closing on Sunday, November 30, 2025, and re-opening on Thursday, March 12, 2026 until Thursday, November 19, 2026.
We are also excited to announce that we are developing a new web app designed to enhance your future stays at Casali di Casole. This digital tool will allow you to review and manage your itineraries, place grocery orders, submit maintenance requests, and access a variety of other services—all with ease and convenience. Our team is currently testing the platform to ensure a smooth experience, and we look forward to sharing more details with you in the coming weeks as we approach the official launch.

We are pleased to share that Casali di Casole Owners and guests staying on property between Monday, December 1, 2025, and Tuesday, January 6, 2026, will enjoy access to the Gym and Sport Center at the Hotel Castello di Casole.
The Gym will be open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and will be closed on the following holidays: December 8, 25, 26, and January 1 and 6.
The Sport Center, featuring tennis, padel, and pickleball courts, will be available daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM through Tuesday, January 6.
We are delighted to extend this opportunity to our Owners and guests during the holiday season and hope you take advantage of these wonderful amenities while enjoying your time at Casali di Casole.

The Mercato nel Campo is Siena’s renowned medieval Christmas market, transforming the spectacular Piazza del Campo with historic ambiance.
The event is a historical re-enactment of the ancient 14th-century “Mercato Grande.” Approximately 140 artisan and food stalls are arranged, offering distinct sections for Enogastronomia and Artigianato. Visitors can find exceptional Tuscan specialties, including protected Sienese sweets like Panforte and Ricciarelli, along with high-quality crafts. This market provides a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in authentic regional products and medieval heritage. It is a highly anticipated and picturesque way to celebrate the start of the Christmas season.

“On September 23rd, we were delighted to host one of our biggest events of the year at the neighboring farmhouse, Podere Cielsereno. In partnership with the renowned iSculpture and Sensi Arte galleries, we curated a special multisensory journey: ‘Five Senses – A sensory Experience’. The galleries guided us through a magical encounter of art, sounds, scents, and flavors, exclusively for Casali di Casole Owners and guests, a few selected neighbors and collectors
in addition to local institutions.
The evening was a wonderful success thanks to the artists, the galleries, and all the Owners who attended. We sincerely thank you for your participation and support! Every Owners reception is a reminder that a strong sense of community and a friendly environment are at the heart of what we do. So, let’s raise a glass and keep the good times rolling!”



ANNA PENTANGELO Head Concierge
Anna’s journey with Casali di Casole is a true reflection of her dedication and passion for learning. Fresh out of university with a language degree and no prior experience, she was drawn to the Concierge role as an exciting challenge that she describes as piecing together a puzzle, rewarding in every way as it came together. Integrating into an already established team was one of her earliest challenges, yet it revealed her natural ability to connect with people from all walks of life—a talent she has since perfected. Now, as our Head Concierge, she leads with warmth and confidence, valuing the daily connections she shares with both her team and our Owners.
Over the years, Anna has embraced change with curiosity and courage, continually stepping outside her comfort zone to grow both personally and professionally. Outside of work, she devotes herself to her family, balancing her children’s busy school and sports schedules with grace. In her free time, she enjoys walking outdoors and experimenting with new vegetarian and natural recipes—a fun contrast to the beloved traditions of Tuscan cuisine. Anna’s story is one of resilience, growth, and genuine care for those around her, and we are incredibly proud to have her as part of our team.
We would like to kindly remind you that having an International Driving Permit (IDP) for your stay in Italy has become increasingly important. While the requirement for an IDP has long been in place, rental car companies are now enforcing it much more strictly. Both local providers and major international brands have begun refusing to release vehicles to customers who cannot present a valid IDP. This means that even if you have a confirmed reservation made online or through a travel agency, you may be denied your rental upon arrival at the counter.
Although not all companies are applying this policy
uniformly, we have had instances where guests were unable to collect their reserved cars and had to make last-minute alternative arrangements. For this reason, we strongly encourage all guests to obtain an IDP before traveling.
As Casali di Casole cannot assist in securing this document, please remember to acquire your International Driving Permit from your local AAA office (or equivalent authority) prior to your departure, or check the expiration date if you already have one. Having your IDP will also help you avoid fines during routine traffic checks conducted by the Italian Police.
For non-EU citizens, the core rule for short-term stays in the Schengen Area is the “90/180-day rule.” This allows visitors to stay for a cumulative total of up to 90 days within any 180-day period. It is not a fixed window, but a rolling calculation that looks back over the previous 180 days from each day of your stay.
As border controls across Europe—and particularly in Italy—have become more frequent, we encourage frequent travelers to review their travel history and confirm their status before departing. Keeping track of your days in the Schengen Area can help you
avoid complications upon arrival or departure.
The European Commission offers an online calculator to help you verify your stay duration. Please ensure that you enter your travel dates accurately, as the results are based solely on the information you provide. The calculator is intended for guidance only and is not legally binding.

Three years ago, Hurricane Ian brought devastation to Captiva Island and much of Southwest Florida.
