In recent years, Osmose Europe has been implementing an intentional strategy of diversification, developing new business opportunities around its historic core supply of industrial wood preservatives. Osmose are dedicated to creating new opportunities for timber and looking for additional ways to enhance the properties of wood and add value to our customer’s timber and wood-based products. The partnership between Osmose and Guard Industries is a further step along this road, allowing Osmose to offer high quality, innovative WoodGuard industrial wood finishes to the UK market, to complement our existing preservative, fire retardant and wood stabiliser ranges. Osmose are also pleased to announce the introduction of a new fire retardant to our growing range. Exterior Fire X is a leach resistant system, for applications such as cladding and will be offered as a service treatment by PTG Treatments Ltd, who also offer the Osmose FirePRO Humidity Resistant FR system.
Celcure is the well known Osmose brand covering our growing range of high pressure treatment systems. The UK Celcure family of products currently includes Celcure AC-500, for all round general use, Celcure AC-350, cost optimised for UC1 & 2, and Celcure MC-500, our micronized system under the Osmose MicroPro umbrella, for high value outdoor wood products. In the autumn of this year, Osmose will be adding two new products to the Celcure brand family, to complement our existing range and give our customers greater choice and the ability to select a system which is ideal for their own particular business needs.
