TIGER 21’s Family Office Chairs are experienced facilitators who understand the nuances and complexities of managing significant wealth across generations. With deep knowledge of governance, succession, estate planning, philanthropy, and intergenerational dynamics, they create a space where Members many of whom are subject matter experts themselves can ask meaningful questions, challenge assumptions, and spark breakthrough thinking

Quarterly, Family Office Chairs lead confidential Group Meetings of 10-12 Single Family Office principals, curating discussions focused on the unique challenges of building and operating a Family Office. Members benefit from collective wisdom, lasting global connections, and, at their discretion, exposure to investment opportunities.

ABOUT TIGER 21

TIGER 21 was founded in 1999 by Michael Sonnenfeldt as a private community of UHNW entrepreneurs in New York City, TIGER 21 has grown into a thriving global community of more than 1,650 Members across 135+ Groups worldwide

At the heart of TIGER 21 is a commitment to helping Members preserve and grow their wealth while navigating the complexities of substantial financial success Carefully selected Members ranging from accomplished CEOs to seasoned investors with investable assets between $20 million and $1 billion come together in confidential, Chair-led peer Groups of 12–15 individuals. These monthly meetings offer a trusted space for deep dialogue around investment strategy, legacy planning, family dynamics, philanthropy, and the personal and professional challenges that come with wealth

In 2022, TIGER 21 expanded its offerings with two specialized Group formats Global Groups were designed for Members with multiple residences, frequent travel, or those in cities without a local Group

These Groups offer a flexible, virtual experience with 12 monthly Meetings per year providing consistent engagement and access to the TIGER 21 community regardless of location.

Family Office Groups, a focused extension of our core model, are tailored for Members managing or establishing a Single-Family Office Led by expert Chairs with deep knowledge of governance, wealth transfer, next-generation engagement, estate planning, and philanthropy, these confidential, no-solicitation forums unite peers facing similar complexities Members gain access to shared best practices, strategic insight, and a trusted global network of UHNW individuals navigating the family office landscape.

Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S

20+ years of experience as a business leader, entrepreneur, investor, or family office executive.

Strong knowledge of the Family Office landscape—governance, estate planning, succession, intergenerational wealth, and philanthropy. Experience advising or leading Single-Family Offices is a plus.

Well-connected within the UHNW and Family Office communities, with networks that can support Group growth and Member engagement.

Skilled facilitator with the presence to lead confidential, high-impact peer discussions. Builds trust, navigates diverse perspectives, and fosters open dialogue.

Investment-savvy and attuned to the unique needs of UHNW individuals and families.

Understands and values peer-to-peer learning for both personal and professional development.

Able to commit time for Group launch and ongoing meetings.

TIGER 21 Chairs are the driving force behind our mission, empowering Members to elevate their achievements and leave a lasting legacy While the intrinsic rewards of chairing a TIGER 21 Group are immeasurable, it's worth noting that this role also offers the opportunity for substantial financial compensation On average, Chairs overseeing a full Group can earn a six-figure income as independent contractors, acknowledging the value they bring to our community.

With an average quarterly commitment of 30 to 35 hours after a Group is established, chairing a TIGER 21 Group provides both flexibility and gratification Furthermore, many of our Chairs choose to extend their impact by leading multiple Groups, further enriching their own experiences and benefiting an even larger community of Members It's a journey that combines personal fulfillment with the opportunity to inspire others to reach their full potential.

Each Chair forms a peer-to-peer learning Group made up of 10–12 accomplished individuals. Chairs facilitate four in-person, two-day Meetings each year held quarterly as well as three virtual meetings. These confidential sessions provide Members with a trusted space to explore their most pressing challenges and opportunities
