Regrettably, no racing will take place at the home of Kent Speedway, Central Park this year. With the primary concern being the well-being of our customers, riders and officials, it was always going to be a difficult decision to make. But when any chance of official competition was ruled out by Speedway's controlling body on July 21, there was little alternative open to the Sittingbourne based club. North Kent Trials Combine A practice event is being run on the 9th of this month by the Wickham club at the popular Sandfields Farm venue at CowdenTN8 7DW Entries are now available
online only, strictly no day entries. Looking further ahead to September Bexleyheath are running practice trial for north Kent club members. The event
subject to that, the Kent side are planning for their opening meeting in 2021 to be at 6.30pm on Tuesday March 30th, followed by the second meeting being held on Easter Monday April 5th. The Kings are hoping and expecting all our current riders to be available for that new beginning. Let us just hope that this retched Covid 19 that has taken so many and so much of what we had, that it does not add British Speedway, or any other form of the motorcycle sports we enjoy to its list of victims.
