Lake Rules + Regulations (continued)

Equipment at the lake property may break, fail, or malfunction. There are no rescue vehicles or medical facilities at or near the lake property.

Property left unattended at or around the lake is subject to theft. The Eldred Preserve is not responsible for your personal property

Running on, jumping from, or diving from the dock area is not permitted. Playing on the docks at the lake could result in serious injuries or death.

Wildlife should not be disturbed.

Boating on the lake involves additional risk Life jackets (available at the lake for guests) must be worn at all times when on the lake.

Fishing is permitted only for NYS-licensed guests who bring their own gear. All fishing at The Eldred Preserve is strictly catch + release.

Fishing and playing on the banks of the lake involve walking on rough, slippery, and rocky terrain, which could result in land or water accidents.

All areas should be kept clear of clutter and garbage (cans, plates, bottles, fishing tackle, etc.).

Towels will be provided at the lake. Guests freely and voluntarily assume complete personal responsibility for these risks and for the injuries that might occur in or around the lake.

Swimming Pool Rules + Regulations (to include hot tub area)

The use of the swimming pool is allowed only from 8 a.m. to dusk. Diving is not allowed.

There is no lifeguard on duty at the pool. Swimmers use the pool at their own risk.

All children under 16 years of age must be supervised by an adult (a person who is at least 16 years of age who is capable of providing emergency assistance) at all times

Do not use any of the pool facilities after consuming food, alcohol, or drugs.

No rough play is permitted in or around the pool. No running is permitted in the pool deck area.

Glass and other breakable objects are not allowed in or around the pool.

All types of flotation devices, swim fins, or other play equipment are prohibited.

Do not swim in thunderstorms or any inclement weather.

Swimming after dark is not allowed.

Please do not use the room towels at the pool area. Towels are available for your use at the pool.

Users should be dressed in appropriate swimming wear in the pool area.

Flotation rings, rescue equipment + a first aid kit are available in the pool area.

The hot tub is available for guest ages 16 + older.
