In Case of Emergency

The most important part of our safety program is that you know how to respond in case of an emergency. Upon arrival, please take a moment to note the emergency exits in your hallway, locate the nearest fire extinguisher, and view the escape route displayed on the back of your guest room door.

Fire Safety Procedures

Our hotel is equipped with a fire alarm system. We want to ensure that you are prepared to leave the hotel safely if one of our warning signals sounds.

For your own safety, please familiarize yourself with the below procedures.

If your door feels hot or impassable:

Place wet towels on the floor in front of your guest room door. Call the Front Desk and tell them your name and room number.

Turn off your air conditioning or heating to prevent smoke entering your room

Lie down on the floor to avoid inhaling fumes.

Security Tips

We want to do all we can to help you enjoy a memorable and safe stay at our hotel. Here are a few tips for your safety and security while you are traveling.

If you are in the room, lock your guest room door with all the available closure devices, and use the attached spy hole in the door to identify visitors

Before you open the door, please ask for identification. If you are unsure, please contact the Front Desk.

Make sure that all doors and windows are closed. Be alert and look around carefully when you exit the hotel.

If you are traveling with a car, leave no valuables in your car

If you hear or see anything suspicious around the property, please notify an employee immediately.

Carbon Monoxide Safety Tips

Carbon monoxide (CO) is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas. The symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning may include headache, nausea, dizziness, weakness, vomiting, and confusion.

All hotel guest rooms, boiler rooms, and public spaces are equipped with a carbon monoxide detector. Units are regularly checked during routine preventative maintenance and guest room inspections. Should a detector alert, and you are experiencing any of the symptoms mentioned above, vacate the guest room immediately and advise the Front Desk.
