Cazuela de patatas con raya (Stew with potatoes and ray) Although it’s unusual to get a really cold day here in the Axarquía even in winter, as anyone who lives here knows, you can often feel colder inside than out and with the rain (hallelujah!!) that we’ve been having recently, there’s nothing more warming that a hearty soup or stew. There are hundreds of traditional Spanish recipes to choose from, so now that gazpacho season is over, try turning up the heat with your soups and stews instead. One of our favourites is ‘cazuela de patats con raya.’ You can add any white fish if you can’t find ray (hake or monkfish work just as well) and depending on your ‘picante tolerance’ you can add as many guindillas (chilli peppers) as you like! Ingredients:

Method:

5 medium potatoes, peeled and chopped into medium chunks Raya fish (although hake or monkfish also work) 4 pieces 1 onion, peeled and chopped 1 medium tomato 1 green pepper Peas (30 grams) Almonds (60 grams) Garlic – 7 cloves Extra virgin olive oil Salt and pepper 2 dried chilli peppers (to taste) Clams (optional) Water (3 litres)

1. Boil the potatoes with some of the water 2. Chop the tomato, pepper and onion and boil on a low heat in a separate pan 3. Fry the garlic and almonds on a medium heat 4. Blend all the ingredients together 5. Return to heat and stir, add the 2 chillis 6. Season with salt and pepper 7. Add the raya (or other fish), peas and clams and cook for a further 5 minutes, or until the fish is cooked thoroughly.

LIVE TO LOVE THE ROAD Together, we make the Sahara Green and Clean

“If you feed the innocent people, kids, you make them happy and bring joy to their hearts. If you ask me the price I would say not even the whole universe is enough.” Amazigh proverb. Sunday October 21st, the sun rises over Tagounite, Morocco, Sahara. Team Tanmirt, Association Atawassol and Vilostrada Foundation, meet at the educational center. We are seven people at 9am. We prepared the event since last May. Most of us thought it was an impossible challenge. Two people firmly believed that the dream of a clean Sahara could be a reality. Thirty minutes later, Bari Nomad, twelve years old, joins us. He is the first child on site. Fifteen minutes later there are five kids and Brahim Elaabdouli taking rubbish bags and starting to clean the school yard filled with plastic, glass and metal cans. Sadly, this is the reality in many places of the world. An hour later, thanks to the Arabic telephone, we have 155 children of all ages cleaning about a square kilometer. We filled ninety rubbish bags in 90 minutes. “This event is a message for the children first, then adults, this will wake people up. Together, we will make the Sahara green and clean”, says Brahim Elaabdouli, regional manager of Vilostrada Foundation.

HOME & GARDEN

WHICH CURTAINS & WINDOW DRESSINGS? Windows really are the eyes of your home. Rather like eyes, not only do they need to look great and complement your design style, they ultimately dictate the levels of light you let in. The way you dress your windows can make or break the look of your room. Here are a few ideas to inspire you. Living room From simple, ready-made curtains to professionally pleated drapes with swags and tails and from vertical and roller blinds to Roman blinds, there’s a lot to consider when dressing the windows of your living room. They need to coordinate with your design style and other soft fabrics, so it’s lush, well lined fabrics with tie backs and all the trimmings for an ostentatious look, and the simplicity of panelled, often monochromatic curtains or blinds for a more contemporary one.

For a contemporary finish on traditional curtains, you could use a flat pelmet layered over your curtains to hide the curtain poles and other fixings. Add a touch of sophistication with cushions to match your pelmet and tie-back fabric. For a modern take on traditional Spanish lace curtains, sheer voile curtains are excellent f you want to allow plenty of light in, but don’t want passers-by to see in. A subtle embroidered detail for a frosted effect adds an extra level of privacy. Bedrooms Blackout lining on curtains is pretty much a must for bedrooms. It consists of a foambacked, opaque fabric to prevent you being woken up by light pouring into the room – possibly vital with the levels of light we get here in Southern Spain. Similarly, roller blinds with blackout lining are a great choice, either in their own right, or hung behind curtains. Or you might add a simple voile curtain to the mix, giving you an extra level of privacy while filtering the sun’s rays. In the absence of a full mosquito screen, they can also offer some protection from our favourite friends the mosquitos. For a deluxe look, try real or faux silk, while traditional, crisp linen in stone or cream colours are equally stunning. Printed Roman blinds layered with plain curtains are elegant on bedroom windows. You might opt for a bold pattern that matches your bedroom’s colour

18

The DIRECTORY November 2018

scheme, along with a coordinating plain fabric for the curtains. If it’s a contemporary look you are after, consider a sleek metal pole and curtains with eyelets or tab tops. Kitchens and bathrooms How about some smart venetian blinds? Choose from metal, laminate, plastic or wood. You can tilt them to let in more or less light for extra privacy and they are so easy to wipe clean or dry. Alternatively, a dainty cafe curtain (or half curtain) is a great solution for a kitchen window where you don’t want passers-by looking in. You can pick up cafe rods that fit easily into window recesses for just a few euros. Patio doors For French doors or patio doors, thermal curtains keep your room draft-free. Choose a bit of a stiff curtain material for an elegant drape, while voile curtains teamed with thinner fabrics are ideal for a touch of privacy without fuss. You might choose Roman blinds to cover each door’s glass panel for a simple yet stylish solution. You can tie them up at different heights depending on where the sun hits the window and bring shade or sunshine where you want it. Words: Tina Andlaw compellingcopy.co.uk 19

LAWYERS (ABOGADOS)

De Cotta Law - Denuncias If you have lived in Spain or visited regularly you may have heard the word denuncía – this means to ‘report’ a crime or a dispute. Generally, people make a denuncia when they’ve been mugged, or lost their passport and need official confirmation so the Consular authorities can issue an emergency travel document or replacement passport. If you have been victim of, involved in or witness to a criminal offence, car crash or any of the above, simply attend your local police station and report what happened or what you saw. You can attend your local Guardia Civil or you can call the denuncia hotline on 902 102 112. Alternatively, there is an internet site at https://denuncias. policia.es/OVD/. It is very important to read the information carefully as you are making a criminal allegation and need to ensure that you are clear and sure of your facts beforehand. It is sensible to pen what you propose to say in advance so that you don’t confuse, omit or forget key information. The same applies if you are using the phone service. Thereafter, the denuncia will be forwarded to your nearest national police station which you’ll need to attend within 48 hours to formally sign the report. One should note that the denuncia hotline is for reporting criminal offences rather than civil infractions, so for example a noisy neighbour or unpaid bill are Civil matters and not criminal allegations. Upon reporting your matter to the police, they will make preliminary enquiries of possible witnesses, compile any evidence and prepare a file. This may take some time. ✓ Family – Custody, Maintenance & Divorce Where sufficiently serious, the matter will be referred to the court. If the judge decides that no criminal offence is made out, the file will be archived; if he or she considers that an offence is made out but the perpetrator cannot be readily established, the file will be shelved pending further evidence. The Judge can then open preliminary investigations – diligencias previas. The purpose of this is to investigate and to decide if the matter should proceed to a full criminal trial. Axarquia Solicitors DIFFICULTIES BETWEEN TOURISTIC APARTMENTS AND THE OWNERS’ ASSOCIATIONS

One of the main concerns in the owners’ associations these last years is the increasing number of houses devoted by their proprietaries to touristic rental. This fact changes the daily cohabitation and affects to the rest of owners in the building since it is common to find that the expenses have increased due to the frequent and usually inappropriate use of the communal elements, services and facilities, and also due to the typical annoyances produced by the touristic activity. The owners’ associations are thinking about mechanisms which help them control the rise of this kind of rental. The Autonomous Communities, among which is Andalucía, have set rules to regulate both tourist accommodations and tourist rental properties. This fact obligates the proprietaries of a tourist apartment to fulfil a number of requirements. But as in many cases individuals ignore these duties; it is common that they receive notifications informing that an administrative inquiry which proposes a high penalty has been initiated against them. Although the law gives to the owners’ associations the opportunity to ban the tourist use of any of the houses in the building, in practice it is something impossible to be undertaken. For example, all the buildings where the owners’ association has already created its regulation need unanimous agreement to carry the prohibition out, which means that 100% of the neighbours must vote the same. So in the cases where these tourist apartments already exist, it will be out of the question. In contrast, those who will be able to include this prohibition in their regulation are the owners’ associations created in new buildings. With regard to the inconveniences caused by tourists, the owner of the apartment is required to warn his guests to comply with the community’s norms. Even the President of the association can, on his own or a neighbour’s initiative, demand the immediate cessation of inconveniences making the proprietary and the guest aware of the filing of legal actions against them. In conclusion, this is a matter of current concern, far from being resolved, and that will certainly remain being a topical issue in the coming years as well as a fundamental point in the tourist sector legislation. For this reason, if this affects to you it is important to be assisted by an experienced lawyer who can advise you. Marbellasolicitors Group counts on a team of knowledgeable lawyers who can help you in this and many other kinds of matters. Please, do not hesitate to contact us and make an appointment in any of our offices without any kind of commitment. 22

1. Pick the focus point manually Focus-points on most SLRs, and some of the mirrorless

or four thirds cameras, there is an option of selecting what point it uses to focus. Meaning, when you look through the camera and see some flashing dots or squares, those are your focus zones or spots. Make sure it is NOT set for the camera selecting which of those spots are targeted for focusing. When the camera chooses where to focus it can often pick the wrong thing. If you have a subject that is behind something in the foreground the camera will usually pick the closest object, which is not your intention, and you’ll end up with the wrong thing in focus. Find the setting that allows you to adjust which target focus zone the camera uses to focus. Depending on the camera make and model, that can usually be adjusted with a dial or joy stick on the back of the camera, while you are looking through the view finder. This frees you to choose the most appropriate zone or spot for your subject or scene. 2. Select the right focus mode Canon-focus-modes most cameras have a few different types of focus modes. On Canon you’ll see them as Single (One Shot), AI (stands for Artificial Intelligence) Focus and AI Servo. On Nikon the modes are AF-S, AF-C and AF-A. Choose the one that bests fits for the subject you’re photographing. Single (or AF-S) means that the camera will focus and lock on a single object and will not refocus until you release your finger from the shutter button. AI Servo (AF-C) is for continuous focusing when you have a moving subject. In this mode when you depress the shutter button half way, the camera will continue to focus on the subject as it moves away or towards you. It does not lock focus until you press the button down fully and take the photo. In AI Focus (AF-C) the camera will choose between the previous two based on whether the subject is moving or not. 3. Set your minimum shutter speed accordingly Min-shutter-speed there is much debate about this subject in terms of how slow is too slow for hand holding your camera. Some instructors will say 1/60th of a second, I tend to use another rule of thumb which is 1 over the focal length of your lens. So, if you are shooting with a 200mm lens, then 1/200 is how fast you need to be shooting to get rid of blur caused by camera shake. The longer lens you select, the more amplified any movement will become. If you are shooting with a cropped sensor camera, remember that 200mm is now acting like a 350mm so that changes your minimum shutter speed to 1/400. If you use a lens that has image stabilization then you can often

stretch it a little bit more, say one or two stops, depending on how steady your hands are. You also want to make sure you are holding your camera in the most stable position with your left hand UNDER the body and lens (sort of cupping it) and both elbows in tight to your body. Then, hold your breath and shoot!

OUT AND ABOUT

BENAMARGOSA

Photographs by Rob Bell Photography

It was the height of mango season when we visited Benamargosa in October, and despite the inclement weather, it felt as though the whole village was centred round one of its most valued crops. Benamargosa, which lies on the banks of the river of the same name, is proudly agricultural and thanks to the river it boasts rich, fertile land which permits the cultivation of mangoes, lemons and particularly avocados. An agricultural history After a series of plagues which all but wiped out the vinyards during 1878 and forced farmers out of the area, those who stayed turned to citrus fruit and sugar cane. While the production of sugar cane has died out across the province and grapes have seen a resurgence in recent years, mangoes, lemons and avocados are the most important local produce. So much so that the ‘Batycate’ (Batido de avocado, or avocado shake) is said to be the village’s local dish. Made with avocado, cinnamon, milk and sugar, this sweet treat is one not to be missed on a visit. Records show that Benamargosa was used by Phoenicians and later Romans as a route between Antequera, Vélez-Málaga and Comares and the oldest remains in the village are those of an inn used by travellers and traders going between the three towns, which can be seen in what is today the main square in the village. Some of the arches from what would have been the stables are still visible. 34

The DIRECTORY November 2018

Places not to be missed on a visit to Benamargosa are; the banks of the river, where in summer locals enjoy the outdoor swimming pool, a modern children’s play area, covered outdoor bar and small kiosk with a covered area for events and celebrations. The La Solana and Los Pechuelos neighbourhoods are the oldest parts of the village and a stroll through the meandering, narrow steep streets will transport you back to the end of the 15th Century when the village began to develop, following the Spanish Reconquista. Also at the river, the Puente de los Diez Ojos (10 eyes) joins Benamargosa and was built to provide access to the fertile land on the other side of the river. Another reminder of the importance of agriculture to Benamargosa is the Arcos de la Huerta; a series of arches built to carry water for irrigation purposes whose date of construction is not recorded. The pretty Iglesia de la Encarnación is located in the lower part of the town, near to the river and numerous bars and like many churches in the Axarquía, was built on a former mosque in the late 16th Century. There are two hermitages in the village; Ermita del Cementario, which is the chapel at the village cemetery and commissioned in 1840 by Doña María de Santiago as a burial place for her husband and eventually herself. Who Doña María de Santiago was remains a mystery, at least to me. A Google search brought up no further information than that of the chapel commission. The other Ermita is San Sebastián, is a relatively modern chapel and built in honour of one of the village’s patron saints who is celebrated on 20th January (or the nearest Saturday after) every year. La Vaqueria is owned by English resident of Benamargosa, Su Derrick, who bought the old dairy 12 years ago and over the years has converted it into an intriguing and homely café-cum-art space and organic vegetable garden. Find homemade food including vegetarian, vegan and glutenfree as well as handcraft and clothes for sale and regular events. Visit the website www.la-vaqueria.com or Facebook: La Vaqueria for more information and see the advert of page 28. Another great find in Benamargosa is the Plaza Lounge Bar, run by Richard and OUT AND ABOUT in BENAMARGOSA

Festivals

How to get there

Fiesta de San Sebastían – 20th January or nearest Saturday. Fiesta del Campo – celebrating the reason for Benamargosa’s existence and a word that all foreigners understand, regardless of their level of Spanish: ‘el campo’. This year it celebrated its 15th anniversary on 21st April and included awards, music, dancing and of course exhibitions and tastings of the village’s produce. Feria de Agosto –

By car take the A 356 from VélezMálaga and just north of the town there is a signpost directing you to turn left into the MA 3113 which leads directly to Benamargosa.

Walking There are plenty of opportunities to walk in and around Benamargosa and the town hall has a leaflet with suggested routes, which include between 3.5 and 9 kilometres and a range of levels of difficulty.

There are buses that leave from Malaga, Vélez-Málaga and Torre del Mar. Check www.autocaresvalleniza.es for timetable information. Written by Jennie Rhodes

WELLBEING What Intuitive Healing Can Do For You Beyond Pain Relief, Intuitive Healing is Valuable For Preventative Care

Whether you are suffering from an aching neck, lumbar pain or a myriad of other debilitating physical conditions, massage therapy is well recognised as an alternative, or complementary, method of relieving the pain. Reflexology is known as an excellent treatment for balancing the body’s systems i.e. the endocrine and respiratory systems and along with Reiki is a renowned therapy for promoting relaxation and reducing anxiety. However, these are not the only benefits and either individually or combined into an Intutitive Healing session they can provide amazing preventative therapy that helps to prevent a disease or illness.

Using Intuitive Healing as a method of Preventative Health Care

With training in Massage, Reiki and Reflexology, therapist Katrina Jones has developed a blend of the three therapies that she calls Intutitve Healing. It helps to build and maintain a healthy body and mind, combats stress and works to keep the immune system strong. Just as eating heathily and taking regular exercise help to ward off illness and disease, regular intuitive healing sessions can help to keep the doctor at bay.

Physical Wellness

The massage element in Intutitve Healing helps to keep the body flexible. Regular and structured touch enhances the body’s sensory capacity and people become more aware of tightness and pain long before it reaches a critical level of dysfunction. Regular massage also brings greater improvement in the reduction of pain and muscle tension as well as an improvement in posture. Many muscular problems are caused by or aggravated by poor posture.

The Stress Effect

The effects of stress can develop slowly; for example, when you feel stressed you may notice the tension in your neck, which then turns into stiffness and eventually begins to affect other parts of your body. If you treat this early enough, with massage, reiki or reflexology, the chances are it won’t develop into anything more serious. Instead your body becomes rebalanced. All three therapies decrease the levels of cortisol (a stress-derived hormone that negatively affects immune function and kills our immune cells) 40

The DIRECTORY November 2018

WELLBEING and increase dopamine and serotonin (the neurotransmitters most associated with emotional wellbeing). They can also lower your heart rate and decrease your blood pressure, providing a hugely effective stressfighting tool that either complements or negates the use of pills. Your immunity is enhanced, allowing your body to more successfully ward off disease and illness. This is why Heavenly Healing Holistic Therapies, based at the Rebeccah Curtis Wellness Centre, Torrox Costa, every Wednesday, offers 20 min sessions in addition to the full hour treatments, to allow clients to attend more regularly and either use the intuitive healing as a preventative treatment or to ensure that a chronic condition is either improved or stabilised. You wouldn’t go to the gym once and expect great results and likewise the regular treaments are of more benefit to the body than a one-off session. To try it out for yourself contact Katrina at the Rebeccah Curtis Beauty and Wellness Centre on 952 530 122 and WhatsApp on 651 956 284.

Plant-Based Power Porridge

RECIPE

Recipe from Richard Fox Now that the mornings are getting darker, colder and not too infrequently wet, it’s time to give a little nourishment to body and soul. This breakfast is the culinary version of the cosiest coat you’ve ever worn with a built in hot water bottle that boosts your energy and general feeling of well being off the scale. It’s a bit of a nobrainier really and is now my nearon daily breakfast. It’s an energy giving nutritional power house, and tastes unbelievably good. The black pepper can increase the healthgiving properties of the Turmeric by up to 2000%, and there’s no negative impact on flavour. So, if you haven’t got fifteen minutes to energise yourself in the morning like this, it’s time to get up fifteen minutes earlier!

Serves 2 (although I have this just to myself!) 2 heaped tbsp porridge oats 1 tsp turmeric 1 tsp ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper 1 banana, sliced 1 kiwi fruit, skin on and chopped 1 tbsp good quality maple syrup 250ml oat milk 1 tbsp chopped nuts Put all the ingredients except the chopped nuts into a heavybased saucepan and heat until it comes to the boil, stirring occasionally. Turn down to a simmer and cook gently for ten minutes stirring regularly. Serve immediately with the nuts sprinkled over the top. foodbyfoxy /richardfoxcooks

EVERYONE NEEDS A BIT OF POSITIVITY Happiness is not about getting what you want all the time, it’s about loving what you have and being grateful for it. Happiness can not be travelled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every moment with love, grace and gratitude. Happy people realise that happiness is a choice. They are not held hostage by their circumstances and they do not seek happiness in people or possessions... but simply knowing that happiness is a choice is not enough, fully experiencing it still requires a conscious decision every day. I believe the secret to this is being mindful, being present in each moment and living IN THE NOW! So much of our unhappiness and misery stems from either dwelling in the past or projecting all our worries and fear about the future. The reality is that we can do nothing about the past except heal our old wounds, we can not rewrite history or change the past, therefore to live there is pointless. We can plan and prepare for our future but to worry about events that have not happened and may never happen only robs us of our joy in the present. We need to learn to trust ourselves and the outcome and to focus only on what we can change or influence and that can only ever be in the present moment.

I

BELIEVE THAT IF LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS, YOU SHOULD MAKE LEMONADE... AND TRY TO FIND SOMEBODY WHOSE LIFE HAS GIVEN THEM VODKA, AND HAVE A PARTY.

To be happy is to stay IN THE NOW, taking our attention to the very moment we are living in, in this moment we have power because we can make things happen. We have no power over the past or the future. I used to suffer from extreme anxiety and anxiety is a fear of the future. It is a fear that we will not be able to cope with what might happen to us, a fear that we can not control the outcome. We become so overwhelmed with all the things we perceive may happen that we 54

lose sight of what is actually occuring RIGHT NOW! Once we realise that our power lies within us at this very moment we feel less anxious. This moment, right now, is a gift thats why they call it the PRESENT. I healed my anxiety by learning to be mindful and present in the now, I happened upon a book called THE POWER OF NOW by ECKHART TOLLE and it really helped me to practice this every day. The Power of Now is an amazing book that helped me to transform my thinking, it showed me how to focus on myself in this very moment. I was talking to a friend the other day and she was complaining about her fat legs… that she didn’t want to go out of the house because she was ashamed of how she looked (and most of us have THOSE days hey) now after the usual replies of ‘don’t be silly, your legs are beautiful I decided to flip the situation and came back at her with “at least you have your legs”. This stopped my friend in her tracks. She suddenly realised that this was true. That people all over the world continued to live a fulfilling life even with challenges as difficult as having no legs and her perception shifted in that instant! She was suddenly grateful and thankful for her legs! The key to happiness does not exist ‘out there’, it is not in a relationship, or a new job, or in money or another country… the key to happiness is within you! Right now you can chose to see the positives in your situation. If you look outside of yourself for your fulfillment you will never be happy because you can neither influence or control the circumstances outside of yourself. True happiness starts with you and your attitude to the world in which you live. Be Grateful, be positive, choose to see the good in things - thats where happiness lives x

WHAT´S ON Introducing Cipriano Ramos from OLETRIPS, a new business in the Axarquía specialising in daily trips for small groups to discover more about the area. Cipriano is passionate about tourism and loves the Axarquia, so rich in culture, gastronomy and with a very interesting history. That is why his business, Oletrips, is focused on taking you to unique and authentic corners of this region and to bring you closer to the locals and the Spanish culture. During an Oletrip, you will enjoy plenty of time to experience the Andalusian lifestyle close up and personal. They offer wonderful experiences and routes in which you will not only learn but also fall in love again with the Axarquia. They also organise private trips all over Andalusia. Cipriano has experience in tourism in Spain and Germany and speaks fluent English, German and Spanish. There are 8 different routes every week in where you will be shown the magnificence of the Axarquia, each one with a different theme and location but all of them include a traditional lunch/dinner, guide/chauffeur in English and German, accommodating small groups from 2 to 8 people with the option for pick-ups and drop-offs in your accommodation. They are also dog friendly, so ask about the dog friendly routes to take your `best friend´ with you. They also organize trips to local gastronomic festivals such as Fiesta de las Migas in Torrox or Fiesta de la Cereza en Alfarnate, where all you have to worry about is enjoying the day, Oletrips will take care of all the rest! You can follow Oletrips on their facebook and Instagram pages : Oletrips Get in contact with them and enjoy an Oletrip or experience this Autumn.

two VIKINGS FROM NORWAY

TWO vikings from norway Get your motor runnin’ Head out on the highway Lookin’ for adventure And whatever comes our way.... Steppenwolf’s epic words from the song “Born to be wild” filled the living room in Torrox. It was Tuesday and we were heading for a new adventure. Outside the sky was blue and the day was new. The Vikings from Norway were ready. We wanted to explore the coastline from Torrox Costa to La Herradura. Along the N340 we had been told it was a fantastic route. Steppenwoolf’s song continued: Yeah Darlin’ go make it happen Take the world in a love embrace Fire all of your guns at once And explode into space... We were not experienced bikers. In

many eyes we were not bikers at all. We drove 125cc scooters. But for my son and I it was good enough. You still got the same feeling of exhileration . . We turned the key and our adventure began. The playa Peñoncillio passed us on the right side. I took a deep breath. You could feel the salt from Mediterranean sea in the air. A good thing with riding is that your senses are heightened and everything felt more intensely. Just after passing through Nerja we made a small stop. I wanted to take a picture of the famous El Acueducto del Aguila. A very impressive construction, almost 100 years old. A few pictures later there were time for some more wind. “Get the engine

runnin’ heading on the highway...” the song continued to play in my head. We followed the N340 with all its ups, downs and curves travelling between green hills and blue sea. It strucked me, the thrill of riding. Motorcycles could lean so far over in curves, it almost seems to defy gravity. When you were leaning in to a bend and feeling like gravity would win, a quick twist of the throttle and the scooter accelerated you out of the situation nicely. Leaning heavily into bend added a huge amount of fun to the experience of riding.

signed path for three minutes to find Torre Viga de Cerro Gordo. This was our destination for today’s trip. We sat down next to the old tower and enjoyed the amazing view. From Nerja, the cliffs of Maro, the bay of La Herradura and even maybe all the way to Africa. No wonder this area is home to some of Spain’s most expensive properties! I passed my son a homemade sandwich. “Dad! What an awsome day” , he smiled and took a big bite. I felt warm inside. Not because of the sun. I was still singing to myself: Like a true nature’s child We were born, born to be wild We can climb so high I never wanna die Born to be wild Born to be wild
