About the Club

Nestled amid the unparalleled view of Reno and the Sierra Nevada mountains is The Club at ArrowCreek, a private sanctuary featuring two championship golf courses and a variety of activities designed to offer connection through community.

Those who play will never tire of the Arnold Palmer-designed Legend course or the Fuzzy Zoeller/John Harbottle-designed Challenge course. The Club’s full-length target driving range, practice putting greens and designated short game practice area serve to round out one of the best golf experiences in Reno, Nevada

Members have many choices before, after or even instead of golf to partake in a variety of fitness, recreation and athletics to keep the body moving and the mind in a healthy state And there is no need to worry about the kids as they will be kept busy with activities to keep them busy under the supervised care of the activities team.

The Club also features a variety of dining options, from the outdoor Grab & Go facility and BeeBee’s coffee shop and café to Tony’s comfort food and at Inq, a modern speakeasy where prohibition-era cocktails are paired with tasty bites daily

The incredible views from the course and clubhouse that serve as the ideal backdrop for the Club’s robust wedding, reception and corporate meeting business are only surpassed by the service provided by the experienced and professional staff who focus on making every event a memorable one.

The Position

The Club at ArrowCreak is searching for a committed, proactive and passionate General Manager/Chief Operating Officer. The General Manager/COO reports to, and interfaces with a single owner on a regular basis to establish and implement programs, policies and procedures in accordance with the Club’s bylaws. No board or committees are involved in the decision-making process.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all club operations, including preparation of the annual operating plan and budget, as well as building and leading the management team and all staff to achieve the desired results

The General Manager coordinates all management functions, and works in concert with the ownership to assist in the development of policies, programs and events to meet the Club’s near- and long-term objectives

Overseeing internal and external marketing strategies for membership growth and member engagement is a critical responsibility, as is serving as the lead program coordinator The General Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining synergy among all departments setting the tone for consistently delivering first-class hospitality and communicating expectations to the entire team. The ideal candidate will be a capable leader with a strong presence who will maintain high visibility with the membership and staff.

▪ Effective fiscal management through delivery of actual operational and capital results in alignment with approved budgets.

▪ The desire to maintain high visibility among members and staff as the face of the Club.

▪ Strength in communicating through digital media, including the website and social media to correspond with the staff and membership.

▪ Ability to develop a world-class team with a shared vision.

Qualifications

✓ A minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive leadership and management experience within luxury hotels, resorts, private clubs or hospitality leisure environments. Along with seasoned professionals, current rising stars at well-recognized organizations, with verifiable records of achievement, will also be considered.

✓ A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Hospitality Management or Business is preferred but not required.

✓ A pre-employment background check will be required. The position is available immediately.

Salary/Benefits

Salary is open and commensurate with qualifications and experience. The Club offers an excellent bonus and benefit package.
