The Fall Line is seeking a passionate, creative, and dynamic culinary professional who thrives in a luxury club setting The Club is looking for someone who can leave a memorable mark and continually elevate the member experience.
As Executive Pastry Chef, you will oversee all aspects of the Club’s pastry operations, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every dining experience A genuine appreciation for fresh, locally sourced ingredients and a commitment to a farm-to-table philosophy are essential for this role
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a drive to foster growth and development within the pastry team. Collaboration is key you will work closely with the Executive Chef and front-of-house leaders as a valued thought partner, contributing to the Club’s ongoing pursuit of excellence and stepping in to assist where needed
✓ A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a 5-star club, resort or similar hospitality setting.
✓ Food safety certification.
✓ Certification from American Culinary Federation or other hospitality association a plus.
✓ A degree from a post-secondary culinary arts program.

▪ Knowledge of, and ability to, maintain, teach and enforce proper sanitation practices
▪ Premium knowledge and skills in Pastry with the ability to teach and explain advanced fundamentals
▪ A mind for innovation and action, with an ability to create unique experiences, menu items, and pastry offerings for the membership
▪ The ability to excel in both banquet and a la carte production, demonstrating the skills to meticulously plan, design and execute large scale events whether plated, buffet, or stations
▪ Demonstrate creativity in menu design, exploring fresh and innovative culinary trends
▪ The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing to team members, club leadership, and members
▪ Exhibit disciplined follow-through to ensure the vision and goals of the Club come to fruition
▪ Cultivate a high-level of member satisfaction through consistency in food delivered
▪ Work with the front-of-house leadership team and Executive Chef to address and resolve all member and guest complaints and suggestions regarding the Pastry program
▪ Work with the Executive Chef to monitor labor and food cost as outlined in the annual budget
▪ Maintain recipes and SOP’s within their department to ensure consistency in product throughout their team
▪ Responsible for maintaining inventory within the Pastry Department, providing product and ordering needs to the Purchasing Department
Salary is open and commensurate with qualifications and experience. The Club offers an excellent bonus and benefit package.
