the position

Nauka Golf and Beach Club is searching for a passionate, positive and innovative Director of Golf to oversee the luxury Golf operations of its Tom Fazio Golf Course and facilities which are opening in the Fall of 2024.

This individual should have experience in high-end private club or resort settings with the ability to deliver an exclusive and personalized experience. The ability to design and provide a world-class golf program, elite services and outstanding leadership is of utmost importance.

The Director of Golf will promote an enthusiastic atmosphere focused on Member enjoyment and satisfaction through hands-on leadership, professionalism and appreciation for the natural environment surrounding Nauka.

▪ Maintains a respectable golf game and represents the Club and the PGA as a professional at the highest level.

▪ Effective fiscal management through delivery of actual operational and capital results in alignment with approved budgets.

▪ A high attention to detail in administration and daily operations.

▪ Enforces Club rules and policies set in place for the Golf Course and Practice Facilities.

▪ Maintains a strong network in the industry through continued education, personal relationships, and attendance at PGA events and shows.

▪ Develop, implement and execute innovative events for each demographic, partnering with the Food and Beverage and Marketing team in the planning process.

▪ Maintains an active coaching and teaching program catering to each individual’s needs, abilities and goals.

▪ A highly visible and interactive individual, playing with members and guests as time allows.

key characteristics

qualifications

✓ A minimum of 5 years as a Head Golf Professional or Director of Golf multiple properties preferred.

✓ Class ‘A’ Member of the PGA of America

salary and benefits

Salary is open and commensurate with qualifications and experience. The Club offers an excellent bonus and benefit package.
