The Club
Forest Lake Club began as a golf club in 1923, located on the old Dents Pond adjacent to a popular swim club enjoyed by many Columbia residents. The construction of the golf course was followed by a new clubhouse, tennis courts with swimming in Forest Lake. After 100 years, it remains the premier country club in the Midlands. Generations have enjoyed its beautiful landscape, phenomenal golf course, tennis courts, swimming pools, and various dining and entertainment venues.
Over the years the campus has grown with the addition of many new amenities and facilities. The Club has preserved time-honored traditions, enthusiasm of membership, and continued emphasis of good sportsmanship, decorum, and civility. The Club continues to look towards the future and the next 100 years of providing excellence in services and amenities the Members and Guests of Forest Lake Club.

Forest Lake Club is searching for a committed, proactive, and passionate club professional to assume the role of Clubhouse Manager One who enjoys working in an exciting private club environment and has the ability to lead and motivate their team to deliver exceptional experiences to the membership is a must He/She will report directly to the GM/COO and work alongside the Executive Chef and Event Director. This person will be responsible for all Front of House Food and Beverage Staff (including 3 direct assistants and a bar manager), beverage and member programming, and the seasonal pool outlets.
It is important this individual is capable of mentoring and developing the managers, supervisors, and line level staff they oversee, with routine training, education and growth opportunities. The Clubhouse Manager will lead the team to deliver personalized service and experiences, upholding the rich 100-year tradition of the Club while introducing new and exciting programming and offerings.

Qualifications
✓ A 3-5 years of progressive hospitality management experience, private club experience highly preferred.
✓ A degree in Hospitality Management a plus
✓ Strong computer and communication skills; Experience with Jonas POS System a positive
✓ TIPs or a beverage certification preferred
✓ The position is available immediately.
Salary and Benefits
Salary is open and commensurate with qualifications and experience. The Club offers an excellent bonus and benefit package.
This Club aspires to progress this role into an Assistant General Manager role in 2-4 years, before supporting the individual’s growth into a GM/COO role at their own Club in the next 5-7 years.
