IMPORTANT: Volunteers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend activities. Please provide evidence of vaccination, either by email beforehand or on the day. Please wear long sleeves, long trousers and covered shoes. Be aware some of our sites are steep and challenging – please read the descriptions to help you select a suitable activity.

Convenor: Vicki Martin The Leonard Wall/Valley Street Reserve and Providence Gully are habitat islands with a close connection to Knocklofty Reserve. The group is managing and replenishing wildlife habitat. These sites are not suitable LAMBERT GULLY FERN TREE for large groups. Inexperienced volunteers welcome. July 7* Follow-up gorse control, below Weerona Trail, downhill from Bandicoot Corridor, KR14. Meet: Forest Rd carpark. July 17 Euryops and gorse control east of the Fiona Allan Track, KR04. Meet: Mount Stuart Lookout carpark. July 21* Gorse control along the old fenceline area uphill from the Weerona Trail, east of the Mount Stuart Track, KR13. Meet: Bimbadeen Court carpark. Aug 4* Rove weeding for gorse and other invasive species up the NE side of the Glover Track, KR21. Meet: Poets Road carpark. Aug 18* G rass planting maintenance above the Weerona Trail, KR7.
