Bushcare team leaders may have to turn potential volunteers away if a site is challenging or if volunteers are inexperienced or inadequately dressed. To reduce the risk of being turned away, please wear long sleeves and trousers, sturdy boots and select an activity suitable to your experience and ability.

TRACKCARE THIRD SUNDAY 10 am – 3 pm Contact: Bushcare Program Officer – 6238 2884 Calling all mountain bikers to help maintain our tracks.

This activity is for people who ride a mountain bike or have knowledge and interest in the construction and maintenance of tracks and trails. Trackcare involves physical work, including digging, moving rocks and carrying buckets.

Our Bushcare groups are run by volunteers working with the City of Hobart to help care for their local bushland reserves.

During Bushcare events children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Bushcare is cancelled on days of total fire ban, high winds or heavy rain.

PLEASE BRING: Strong boots, warm waterproof clothing, a hat and a drink. Gloves and all tools will be supplied.
